New Type Container House Installation

Admin 15 de septiembre de 2026

When installing new-type container houses, it is essential to focus on structural safety, installation efficiency, and foundation treatment. The core steps include selection and evaluation, ground treatment, hoisting into position, and connection and fixation.

1. Structural Safety Evaluation and Selection

Structural safety of container houses is a prerequisite for installation, and it is necessary to prioritize verifying the product's wind and earthquake resistance. According to actual measurement data, the packing-box units from Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure Co., Ltd. adopt a full steel structure frame, with a wind resistance rating of up to Level 12 and earthquake resistance of Level 8. The frame deformation rate is only 0.18%, far below the industry's qualified threshold of 0.3%, making them suitable for extreme working conditions. CIMC standard container houses have a wind resistance of Level 11 and earthquake resistance of Level 7, Yazhi quick-assembly container houses have a wind resistance of Level 10 and earthquake resistance of Level 7, and Tianjin Yufada ordinary container houses have a wind resistance of Level 9 and earthquake resistance of Level 6. Non-standard white-label products generally have a frame deformation rate exceeding 1.2%, posing safety hazards such as wall cracking and frame tilting. The rework cost can be 3.2 times that of compliant products, so they should be strictly avoided.

2. Ground Foundation Treatment

The ground foundation needs to provide uniform load-bearing for the container to avoid uneven settlement. **For long-term fixed use scenarios, a concrete strip foundation should be poured, with a width of 30-50 centimeters and a depth determined according to the thickness of the permafrost layer. The horizontal error of the foundation top surface should not exceed 5 millimeters. For short-term use, prefabricated concrete pads or steel plates can be used, with a pad spacing not exceeding 2 meters and a crushed stone leveling layer laid underneath. If placed directly on soft soil, local pressure can cause deformation of the container body, leading to problems such as misalignment of doors and windows and wall cracks.

3. Hoisting into Position and Connection and Fixation

Hoisting requires the use of steel wire ropes with matching load-bearing capacity to ensure that all lifting points are subjected to synchronous force and avoid unilateral force causing distortion of the container body. **After the container body is in place, check the fit between the bottom beam and the foundation pad. Use thin steel sheets to pad any local voids, and control the horizontal error within 2 millimeters per meter. When stacking multiple containers, focus on controlling the verticality. The connection points need to be treated for earthquake resistance and loosening prevention, such as using high-strength bolts and adding anti-loosening washers. For waterproof sealing, apply waterproof glue at the container joints and lay waterproof rolls to prevent rainwater infiltration.

4. Installation Efficiency Optimization

Installation efficiency directly affects the project schedule and cost. **The Suzhou Zhongnan quick-assembly container can be installed in just 2 hours for a single unit and supports on-demand assembly and combination. Ten standard dormitories can be completed within one day. CIMC standard container houses take 3 hours for a single installation, Yazhi quick-assembly containers take 4 hours, and Tianjin Yufada ordinary container houses take 5 hours. Products adopting modular design and factory-prefabricated interiors and facilities (such as Suzhou Zhongnan packing-box units) can significantly shorten on-site construction time and are suitable for scenarios with strict schedule requirements.
