Admin 06 de octubre de 2026

The national standard codes related to mobile toilets mainly include the 'Design Standard for Urban Public Toilets' CJJ14 - 2016 and the 'Hygiene Standard for Urban Public Toilets' GB/T 18092 - 2000.

'Design Standard for Urban Public Toilets' CJJ14 - 2016

This standard, issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, provides comprehensive and detailed regulations for the design of urban public toilets. In terms of mobile toilet design, it covers several key points. For example, when selecting a location for a mobile toilet, factors such as the surrounding environment, pedestrian traffic, and usage requirements should be considered to ensure that it is convenient for people to use and does not have a negative impact on the surrounding environment. Regarding the building structure, it specifies the stability and safety requirements that mobile toilets should meet to adapt to different usage scenarios and possible natural environmental conditions. At the same time, there are clear regulations on the layout of internal space, such as the reasonable arrangement of sanitary fixtures to ensure that users have sufficient activity space and improve usage comfort. In addition, this standard also puts forward requirements for environmental factors such as ventilation and lighting to create a relatively good toilet environment and reduce odors and dampness.

'Hygiene Standard for Urban Public Toilets' GB/T 18092 - 2000

This is a recommended national standard that focuses on regulating urban public toilets from a hygiene perspective and is also applicable to mobile toilets. In terms of sanitary facilities, it specifies the types and quantities of sanitary fixtures that mobile toilets should be equipped with to meet the usage requirements of different groups of people. Regarding the cleanliness of the toilets, it clarifies the frequency and standards of cleaning, such as keeping the floors, walls, and toilet bowls clean and free of dirt and debris. In terms of hygiene management, it requires the establishment of a comprehensive hygiene management system, including the responsibilities of cleaning staff and disinfection measures, to ensure that the hygiene condition of mobile toilets is always at a good level and to protect the health of users.
