The Nanshan Taoyuan container house is an industrial驿站 (rest stop) transformed from idle containers donated by Nanshan District. Located in Shangping Town, Lianping County, Heyuan City, it combines practical functions with cultural characteristics to support rural development.

I. Project Background and Funding
The project involves the donation of idle containers by Nanshan District, utilizing 1.5 million yuan in aid funds primarily for container renovation and enhancement, as well as the construction of supporting facilities in the surrounding environment. Previously, farm tool sheds were scattered haphazardly along National Highway 105. After renovation, these have been replaced by neatly arranged container驿站s, resolving issues of disorganized farm tool storage and a cluttered environment, thereby improving rural governance efficiency and ecological protection levels.

II. Design Features and Cultural Integration
The design team deeply integrated the local "Peach Culture," with the container exteriors predominantly pink and adorned with carefully painted peach blossom patterns. These harmonize beautifully with the surrounding thousands of acres of peach orchards, creating a unique visual landscape. This design not only beautifies the environment but also strengthens regional cultural identity, making the驿站 a striking local landmark.

III. Functional Layout and Economic Value
The驿站 is strategically located at the junction of the highway exit and the core peach orchard area, creating a consumer attraction zone where "exiting the highway leads directly into Peach Country." During the ripening season of the hawthorn peaches, the industrial驿站 serves as an important window for peach farmers to display and sell their peaches. It also features peach blossom-themed photo spots and rest areas, attracting tourists to linger and promoting consumption. It is estimated that the project can drive annual sales of agricultural products such as peach gum and peaches exceeding one million yuan, transforming the rural environment's "aesthetic appeal" into economic value.
