Multi-story Ring Beam Prefabricated Panel House
The regulations for the setting of ring beams in multi-story ring beam prefabricated panel houses are as follows:

For 3 - 4-story civil houses, one ring beam must be set at the ground floor and the eaves level respectively, and no additional ring beams are required for the intermediate floors. Ring beams play a crucial role in the building structure. They can enhance the overall integrity and spatial stiffness of the house, improve its earthquake resistance, and reduce issues such as wall cracking caused by uneven foundation settlement. In civil houses, setting ring beams at the ground floor and the eaves level can effectively restrain the walls, enhance the structural stability of the bottom and top of the house, and meet the needs of general civilian living.
If the house is an industrial building, such as a small factory building, regardless of the number of floors, a ring beam must be set on each floor. Industrial buildings usually have different functional uses and load conditions. There may be significant loads generated by equipment operation, material stacking, and possible vibrations. Setting ring beams on each floor can better ensure the structural safety of the house under various complex working conditions, enhance the connection and integrity of the walls on each floor, and prevent wall damage caused by excessive local loads or vibrations.
For houses with wall beams, ring beams must be set at the top surface of the supporting beam, the top surface of the wall beam, and the eaves level, without exception. In wall beam structures, the supporting beams and wall beams bear significant loads. Setting ring beams at these key positions can effectively transfer and disperse the loads, enhance the collaborative working capacity between the wall beams and the walls, improve the load-bearing capacity and stability of the structure, and avoid structural damage caused by local stress concentration.
If the house has cranes or large vibration equipment and no effective vibration isolation measures have been taken, in addition to setting cast-in-place concrete ring beams at the eaves or window top level, additional ring beams should also be added. Cranes and large vibration equipment generate significant dynamic loads and vibrations during operation, which have adverse effects on the building structure. Adding extra ring beams can further enhance the overall integrity and stiffness of the building structure, improve the house's ability to resist vibrations and dynamic loads, prevent structural damage such as wall cracking caused by vibrations, and ensure the safe use of the house.
