Particle Size of Iron Ore Concentrate for Movable Toilets

Admin 11 de octubre de 2026

Information on the particle size of iron ore concentrate is as follows:

In the mineral processing industry, there are relatively clear requirements and common ranges for the particle size of iron ore concentrate. The conventional requirement in the mineral processing industry is that the proportion of particles smaller than 200 mesh in iron ore concentrate should be greater than 80%. A 200-mesh particle size corresponds to 0.074 mm, which means that at least 80% of the iron ore concentrate particles should be able to pass through a 0.074 mm sieve. This requirement is determined based on various factors such as the mineral processing technology and subsequent processing and utilization. An appropriate particle size helps improve the quality of iron ore concentrate and the efficiency of subsequent smelting and other processes.

For magnetite, the particle size of the concentrate after grinding should reach 0.044 mm (325 mesh) or above. During the mineral processing of magnetite, after grinding treatment, it needs to meet certain particle size standards to better meet subsequent separation and utilization requirements. A particle size of 0.044 mm (325 mesh) or above can ensure that the magnetite concentrate has good physical and chemical properties, which is beneficial for improving the mineral processing recovery rate and concentrate grade.

Common particle size ranges of iron ore concentrate include 0 - 325 mesh, 325 - 635 mesh, and 635 - 1250 mesh, etc. Among them, 0 - 325 mesh refers to particles that can pass through a 325-mesh sieve, generally fine particles below 0.044 mm. Different particle size ranges are suitable for different uses and processing technologies. For example, some smelting processes with fine particle size requirements may require iron ore concentrate with a fine particle size, while some processes with relatively coarse particle size requirements can choose iron ore concentrate with a wider particle size range. In actual production, an appropriate particle size range of iron ore concentrate is selected according to factors such as the properties of iron ore, mineral processing technology, and product use to achieve the best economic and technical results.
