Mobile Vehicle Toilet Research and Development Technology

Admin 01 de octubre de 2026

The research and development technologies for mobile vehicle toilets mainly include two typical solutions: Seres' sliding rail hidden design and Sichuan Zhongheng Yuantai's environmentally friendly vacuum technology.

Seres' Sliding Rail Hidden Design:
This technology focuses on space optimization, achieving the hiding and unfolding of the toilet through sliding rail components. The core structure consists of the toilet body and sliding rail components, with the fixed rail installed on the upper part of the toilet body and the sliding rail connected to the in-car seats through a seat connection structure. The toilet is usually stored under the front passenger seats and can be pulled out with one-button operation when in use and pushed back into place afterward, occupying no in-car activity space at all. To enhance user experience, this technology also integrates multiple functions: the 5L sealed waste collection tank uses a sealed design to prevent odor leakage; the negative pressure odor removal system quickly eliminates odors through air circulation; the constant temperature heating function ensures comfort in winter; disposable waste bags simplify the cleaning process; and the foldable privacy curtain provides an independent toilet space. These designs are tailored for long-distance self-driving scenarios in new energy vehicles, effectively solving the problem of difficult toilet access during highway traffic jams or in remote areas.

Sichuan Zhongheng Yuantai's Environmentally Friendly Vacuum Technology:
This technology takes water conservation and environmental protection as its breakthrough point, adopting a vacuum negative pressure collection system to replace the traditional flushing mode. By generating negative pressure with a vacuum pump, it quickly sucks the excreta into the waste collection tank, with a single water consumption of ≤0.8L, saving over 80% of water compared to traditional vehicle toilets and reducing sewage discharge. Its modular design allows for quick disassembly and assembly, making it adaptable to different carriers such as buses and RVs; corrosion-resistant materials extend the equipment's service life; fine pipe layout improves space utilization and does not require connection to municipal sewage networks, supporting independent operation in the wild. In addition, this technology has a powerful suction capacity for efficient excreta treatment and a low-temperature resistance feature to ensure stable operation of the equipment at -30°C, making it suitable for high-altitude cold regions or emergency scenarios.

Both technologies have promoted the practical development of mobile vehicle toilets through structural innovation and functional integration. The Seres solution focuses on space utilization and user experience, suitable for family self-driving scenarios; while the Zhongheng Yuantai solution focuses on water conservation, environmental protection, and adaptability to extreme environments, making it more suitable for public transportation or emergency fields.
