Mobile Toilet with Storage Tank
A mobile toilet with a storage tank is a common configuration, where the storage tank is used to collect and treat fecal sewage, and comes in various types and features.

A mobile toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), flooring, sanitary ware, walls, washing facilities, a water tank, a roof, and a mobile device. Among these, the fecal sewage storage tank is a key component, and the working methods of storage tanks vary among different types of mobile toilets.
Based on sewage treatment methods, mobile toilets can be classified into several types, all involving the storage or treatment of fecal sewage. Flush and non-flush suction-type mobile toilets: Flush-type mobile toilets are supplied with water from a water tank, and after use, the sewage flows into the storage tank and is periodically removed and treated by a sewage suction truck; non-flush suction-type toilets use negative pressure to directly suction feces into the storage tank, which also requires periodic cleaning. Recirculating flush-type mobile toilets: These toilets are equipped with a sewage treatment device that filters, precipitates, and disinfects used sewage to meet the standard for reuse in flushing, achieving water resource recycling. The treated fecal residues are collected in the storage tank. Dry-packing-type mobile toilets: These use a packing-type squat pan, where feces are collected in specially made fecal bags placed inside the storage tank. These toilets do not require water and only need periodic replacement of the fecal bags. They can operate normally without water or electricity. For example, some mobile toilets that can be used immediately upon placement adopt a design with a packing-type squat pan and a fecal storage tank.
The material of the storage tank is usually selected to be sturdy, durable, and corrosion-resistant to ensure no leakage occurs during long-term use. Its capacity is designed according to the usage scenario and expected number of users of the mobile toilet to meet fecal sewage storage needs under different circumstances. Regular cleaning of the storage tank is an important part of ensuring the normal operation of the mobile toilet, and the cleaning frequency depends on the usage frequency and the capacity of the storage tank.
