Wind Resistance Grade of Mobile Toilets

Admin 08 de octubre de 2026

The overall wind resistance grade of mobile toilets ranges from 6 to 14, with specific grades varying depending on design and purpose. Here are the details:

Standard Type: The wind resistance grade is usually between 8 and 10, corresponding to wind speeds of 17.2 - 28.4m/s. These mobile toilets can meet the usage requirements of construction sites, municipal areas, and general scenic spots. In typical outdoor environments, they can maintain structural stability in the face of common wind conditions, providing users with a safe and comfortable space.

High-end/Scenic Spot/Large Type: The wind resistance grade can reach 12, with wind speeds ranging from 32.7 - 36.9m/s. These toilets feature steel structures and reinforced designs, enabling them to adapt to special environments with strong winds, such as coastal areas and open high-wind zones. In these regions, where strong winds are frequent and intense, a wind resistance grade of 12 can effectively withstand strong winds and prevent the mobile toilets from being blown over or damaged.

Simple/Lightweight Type: The wind resistance grade is between 6 and 8, suitable only for low-wind and temporary scenarios. Due to their relatively simple structure and light weight, they have relatively poor stability when facing strong winds and can only be used in temporary locations with low wind speeds, such as short-term outdoor event sites.

Construction Site Special Type: Some mobile toilets designed specifically for construction sites have a wind resistance grade of 7, while others can resist up to grade 10, meeting the safety requirements of municipal and construction site environments. Construction sites have complex environments and may face various weather conditions, and an appropriate wind resistance grade can ensure the safety of mobile toilets during use on construction sites.

Outdoor Toilets and Some Special Types: Outdoor toilets can have a wind resistance grade of up to 12; among standard mobile guard booths, the coastal type can withstand a wind pressure of 5.0kPa, corresponding to a wind grade of 14. These specially designed mobile toilets are optimized for extreme weather scenarios, adopting stronger structures and materials to cope with potential super-strong winds.

Common Mobile Public Toilets on the Market: The basic models can resist winds up to grade 8; those with a steel frame structure and a three-layer anti-rust coating on the frame surface can have a wind resistance performance of over grade 10; some prefabricated mobile toilets that meet national standards have a wind resistance performance of no less than grade 10; a small number of steel-structured mobile toilets designed for extreme weather scenarios can have a wind resistance grade of up to 12; for some biodegradable ecological mobile toilets, if national standard steel is used for the reinforced frame, the wind resistance grade generally does not exceed 10.
