Mobile Toilet - Waterless Type

Admin 28 de septiembre de 2026

The waterless mobile toilet is an environmentally friendly toilet that can handle waste without traditional water flushing, using physical, biological, or chemical technologies to replace the water-flushing function, suitable for places without water supply and drainage systems.

I. Definition and Classification
The waterless mobile toilet is known as an environmentally friendly toilet, ecological toilet, or mobile toilet in China, and its international common name is a non-sewered sanitation toilet. Its core feature is the treatment of waste through non-water-flushing technologies, avoiding reliance on traditional drainage systems. According to technological principles, it can be divided into three categories:

  1. Physical Treatment Type: Such as waterless packing toilets, which seal feces in biodegradable bags using intelligent packing squat toilets, requiring no water or electricity, suitable for extreme environments like wild mountain exploration and desert camping.
  2. Biological Treatment Type: Utilizes microorganisms to decompose feces into harmless substances, commonly found in ecological toilets in scenic spots or parks.
  3. Chemical Treatment Type: Achieves waste solidification or liquefaction for easier subsequent treatment by adding chemical agents for disinfection and deodorization.

II. Technical Standards and Applicable Scenarios
This type of toilet must comply with the GB/T18092-2000 'Waterless Sanitation Toilet' standard, implemented since October 1, 2000. Its design purpose is to solve toilet problems in places without water supply and drainage systems, such as:

  • Temporary Events: For short-term gathering scenarios like music festivals and sports events, 3+1 connected waterless toilets (including 3 toilet compartments and 1 management room, covering 15 square meters) can be quickly deployed.
  • Remote Areas: For areas without water and electricity supply, such as wild exploration and mountain construction sites, waterless packing toilets can be used for long periods.
  • Ecologically Sensitive Areas: Such as nature reserves and wetland parks, where biological treatment toilets can reduce environmental pollution.

III. Price and Purchase Considerations
The prices of waterless mobile toilets vary significantly, influenced by specifications, materials, and functions:

  • Basic Model: Such as mobile ecological toilets in scenic spots, priced at around 120 yuan, with simple functions, suitable for short-term use.
  • Mid-range Model: Outdoor scenic spot environmentally friendly shower-integrated movable squat toilets, priced at 720 yuan, integrating shower functions and more durable materials.
  • High-end Model: Microbial ecological restrooms in Beijing parks, priced at 9500 yuan, using microbial decomposition technology, suitable for high-traffic public places.
When purchasing, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the usage scenario, budget, and maintenance costs. For example, waterless packing toilets are recommended for remote areas, while biological treatment toilets are preferred for scenic spots to enhance user experience.
