What Water Pump to Use for Mobile Toilets

Admin 08 de octubre de 2026

Common types of water pumps used in mobile toilets include QB series clean water pumps, IS/IR single-stage single-suction pumps, GDL vertical multistage pumps, GB easy-disassembly pumps, and foot-operated small water pumps, among others. The specific choice depends on the requirements of the usage scenario.

  1. QB Series Clean Water Pumps
The QB series is the most commonly used pump type for mobile toilets, with models such as QB60, QB70, QB70H, QB80, and QB90. Its core advantages lie in its lightweight and high-head characteristics, which meet the requirements of mobile toilets for space occupation and drainage efficiency. For example, the QB70H model can maintain a stable flow rate at a head of 7 meters, making it suitable for scenarios requiring rapid drainage. Additionally, the series features a compact pump body structure, facilitating installation in confined spaces, and has low maintenance costs, making it a mainstream choice in the market.

  2. IS/IR Single-Stage Single-Suction Pumps
These pumps are suitable for conventional low-head scenarios and have a wide flow range (e.g., the IS50-32-125 model can achieve a flow rate of 12.5m³/h). Their drawback is their relatively bulky size, requiring a larger installation space, and their heads are generally below 15 meters. If the mobile toilet is located on flat ground or the drainage outlet is close by, the IS/IR type can be a cost-effective solution due to its cost advantage. However, it should be noted that its anti-clogging ability is weak, and the filter screen needs to be cleaned regularly.

  3. GDL Vertical Multistage Pumps
For high-head requirements (e.g., exceeding 20 meters) in mobile toilets, GDL pumps are an ideal choice. They achieve high-pressure drainage through the superposition of multiple impellers, with better flow stability than single-stage pumps. For example, the GDL2-15 model can maintain a flow rate of 2m³/h at a head of 30 meters. However, it should be noted that this pump requires vertical installation, which imposes higher requirements on the toilet structure design, and has a higher initial cost, making it suitable for high-end or customized mobile toilet projects.

  4. GB Easy-Disassembly Pumps
If the mobile toilet requires frequent maintenance (e.g., temporary toilets for public events), the modular design of GB pumps can significantly shorten maintenance time. Its pump body and motor separation structure allows for quick disassembly without the need for professional tools for cleaning or replacement. For example, the GB80-50-200 model can achieve a flow rate of 50m³/h at a head of 20 meters. Although its volume is slightly larger than that of the QB series, its maintenance efficiency is improved by more than 30%.

  5. Foot-Operated Small Water Pumps (e.g., FP-02)
In scenarios without power supply or with energy-saving requirements, foot-operated pumps achieve drainage through human power. The FP-02 model has a flow rate of approximately 0.5L per operation, making it suitable for small mobile toilets or emergency use. Its advantages lie in its power independence and simple structure, but its drainage efficiency is low, making it only suitable for low-frequency usage scenarios.
