Mobile Toilet Ventilation Opening

Admin 28 de septiembre de 2026

The ventilation openings of mobile toilets are reasonably designed and mainly distributed at the top, sides, and bottom. Some smart mobile public toilets also have ventilation openings combined with deodorization devices above the toilet stalls.

Top Ventilation Openings: These are the most common locations for ventilation openings in mobile toilets, usually located in the middle or corners of the toilet roof. They adopt a grille design, which serves multiple purposes. On one hand, they can introduce fresh air from the outside while expelling the stale air inside the toilet, achieving effective air exchange. On the other hand, the grille structure can prevent rainwater and debris from entering the toilet, ensuring a clean internal environment. Some top ventilation openings are equipped with exhaust fans, which further enhance ventilation efficiency through mechanical ventilation and quickly improve the air quality inside the toilet. During installation, for naturally ventilated openings, the height should generally be no less than 2.5 meters to effectively avoid rainwater backflow. Especially in rainy areas like Ganzhou in summer, it is recommended to install rain-proof louvers at the ventilation openings to enhance rain protection.

Side Ventilation Openings: These are generally located at the upper part of the toilet walls, close to the top, on either or both sides. They also adopt a grille design and work in conjunction with the top ventilation openings to form air convection, accelerating the air circulation inside the toilet. Some side ventilation openings are designed to be flexible and can be opened or closed, allowing for flexible adjustment of the ventilation volume according to different weather conditions to meet actual usage needs. For natural ventilation, the air inlet can be installed on the side of the toilet and should be positioned lower than the ventilation opening to form a good air convection channel.

Bottom Ventilation Openings: These are mainly located on either side or at the rear of the toilet bottom. Their main function is to expel ground moisture and a small amount of odors, preventing the ground from becoming moldy due to dampness. They also assist the top and side ventilation openings in forming a complete ventilation system, comprehensively improving the ventilation effect of the toilet.

In addition, the ventilation openings of some smart mobile public toilets are combined with deodorization devices and installed above the toilet stalls. This design can precisely expel odors near the toilet stalls, further enhancing ventilation and deodorization effects. Moreover, these ventilation openings are all sealed to effectively prevent rainwater leakage.
