Mobile Toilet Tile Repair Methods

Admin 09 de octubre de 2026

The repair methods for mobile toilet tiles should be selected according to different situations such as tile detachment or cracks. Details are as follows:

Repair methods for detached tiles

  • Using cement for adhesion: First, clean off the old cement remaining on the back of the tile and the wall surface to ensure a clean adhesion surface. Then, soak the detached tile in water to allow it to fully absorb water, and then take it out and let it dry. Adjust the cement to an appropriate consistency, evenly apply it to the back of the tile, and then paste the tile back to its original position. Use a tool to gently tap it flat so that the tile fits tightly against the wall surface.
  • Using strong adhesive (stone adhesive) for adhesion: First, clean the mortar on the back of the tile and wait for it to dry. Knock out some small pits on the cement mortar of the wall surface and clean out the debris in these pits. Then fill in the strong adhesive and paste the tile onto it, continuously tapping the tile to make it flat. The strong adhesive has strong adhesion and can better fix the tile.
  • Comprehensive repair steps: First, remove the loose or damaged tiles. When doing this, wear goggles and gloves, and use a hammer and chisel to carefully take down the tiles and clean the residues on the tile surface and the wall surface. Then prepare the surface, check the condition of the underlying layer, ensure that the wall surface is dry and free of cracks. If the wall surface condition is not good, use a waterproof membrane if necessary, and then clean the wall surface with a cleaning agent. When installing new tiles, evenly apply tile adhesive, press the new tiles onto it, and check their flatness, adjusting the position in a timely manner. When filling the joints, prepare the joint filler according to the instructions, apply it to the tile joints, and clean off the excess joint filler. Finally, perform sealing and cleaning. After the joint filler dries, apply a waterproof sealant and then clean the tile surface.

Repair methods for tile cracks

First, press the tiles on both sides of the crack with your hands. If the tiles are not loose, you can use joint filler for repair. When choosing a joint filler, try to pick one with a color similar to that of the tiles so that the repair effect will be more natural and beautiful. Fill the joint filler into the crack. After it dries, it can enhance the stability of the tiles and prevent the crack from expanding further.
