Three Tonnages of Mobile Toilets

Admin 09 de octubre de 2026

The tonnage of mobile toilets can be divided into three categories—small, medium, and large—based on their size and configuration, with specific weight ranges as follows:

1. Small Mobile Toilets
Small mobile toilets typically refer to single-unit structures or simple household models, with weight ranges from 0.15 tons to 2 tons. Among them, household small mobile toilets commonly found in rural areas (equipped with sewage storage tanks) are relatively lightweight, weighing approximately 150 kg to 200 kg, suitable for family or small-scale use. Small mobile toilets with flushing systems used in public areas are slightly heavier, weighing about 250 kg to 350 kg, due to the addition of water circulation or sewage systems. Additionally, some small single-unit mobile restrooms may weigh up to 1 ton to 2 tons, often using sturdier materials or integrating more functional modules.

2. Medium Mobile Toilets
Medium mobile toilets have weight ranges from 2 tons to 4 tons and are commonly found in public places or temporary event settings. These toilets typically include multiple stalls or more comprehensive facilities, such as independent sinks and ventilation systems, with increased structural complexity leading to higher weights. For example, the weight of a single stall in a prefabricated mobile public toilet is approximately 1.5 tons to 3 tons, while multi-stall combined units may weigh close to 4 tons. Medium-sized toilets are often constructed with metal frames paired with lightweight panels, balancing durability and portability.

3. Large Mobile Toilets
Large mobile toilets typically weigh over 4 tons and are suitable for high-traffic public areas or long-term fixed use scenarios. These toilets may integrate additional features such as barrier-free facilities, management rooms, and large-capacity sewage storage systems, with structures using heavier materials or reinforced frames. For instance, mobile toilets used in some scenic spots or large events, which need to meet long-term usage demands, may weigh 5 tons or more, requiring professional vehicles for transportation and lifting equipment for installation.

Summary: The tonnage differences in mobile toilets are primarily determined by size, functional configuration, and materials. Small toilets prioritize portability, medium toilets balance functionality and portability, while large toilets focus on durability and high load-bearing capacity. Selection should be based on a comprehensive assessment of usage scenarios, traffic density, and transportation conditions.
