Thermal Insulation Performance of Mobile Toilets
There is no unified and fixed standard for the thermal insulation performance of mobile toilets, but its pros and cons can be evaluated from the following aspects:

Temperature Maintenance
In cold winters, the indoor temperature of mobile toilets should be kept above 10℃ as much as possible. In areas where the average winter temperature reaches -10℃ or even lower in northern regions, maintaining an indoor temperature between 10℃ and 15℃ is more appropriate. This temperature range can not only meet the basic comfort needs of the human body but also prevent equipment from freezing or pipes from being damaged due to low temperatures.
Thermal Insulation Performance of Envelope Structures
The thermal insulation performance of envelope structures such as walls and roofs is crucial. Walls should use thermal insulation materials with low thermal conductivity, such as polystyrene boards, to reduce heat loss. The thickness of the roof insulation layer should generally be more than 5 centimeters to effectively block the invasion of cold outdoor air. Some designs use multi-layer panels filled with thermal insulation materials, improving thermal insulation performance by 65% compared to traditional brick-concrete buildings. Others adopt a composite structure of an outer color-steel plate and an inner fireproof board, with a 5cm layer of polyurethane foam or rock wool insulation in between. The thermal conductivity is as low as 0.024W/(m·K), improving thermal insulation performance by three times compared to traditional materials.
Door and Window Design
Doors and windows are the main channels for heat loss and should use double-glazed or thermal-break aluminum doors and windows. Double-glazed windows improve thermal insulation through an air layer, while thermal-break aluminum doors and windows reduce heat conduction through a thermal-break structure. At the same time, the airtightness of doors and windows should be enhanced, for example, by installing EPDM rubber sealing strips and upgrading ventilation openings with temperature-controlled louver devices, which can reduce heat loss by more than 60%.
Energy Consumption Efficiency
The thermal insulation effect can be quantitatively evaluated by the reduction in heating energy consumption. If winter thermal insulation measures reduce heating energy consumption by 30% - 50% compared to non-insulated conditions, it indicates an ideal thermal insulation effect. For example, if the daily heating cost is 500 yuan without insulation, the cost can be reduced to 250 yuan - 350 yuan after insulation.
Drainage System Insulation
The drainage system requires special treatment to prevent freezing. The trap of the squat toilet should be filled with expanded perlite, and the drainage pipes should be wrapped with a 50mm-thick insulation layer to form a three-dimensional insulation system, ensuring normal drainage function in low-temperature environments.
