Mobile Toilet Theft
There are indeed cases of mobile toilets being stolen, and relevant reports have been made.

Case 1: Mobile Toilet Theft in Hefei, Anhui Province
In Hefei, Anhui Province, a brand-new, unused two-person mobile toilet placed at the doorstep by Mr. Jiang was stolen. The toilet was worth over 5,000 yuan, weighed several hundred kilograms, was made of blue steel plates, and stood about 2 meters tall. The suspect, Xia, acted in collusion with others late at night due to the inconvenience of having many people at home needing to use the toilet. They moved the toilet onto a tricycle and fled the scene. However, the toilet was subsequently recovered, and Xia has been taken into custody. In this case, despite the large size and weight of the mobile toilet, it was still targeted by criminals. The motive for the crime was primarily to meet the toilet needs of Xia's family, reflecting that some people may resort to improper means when facing practical difficulties in life.
Case 2: Mobile Toilet Theft at a Racetrack in Herefordshire, UK
A more serious case of mobile toilet theft occurred at a racetrack in Herefordshire, UK, where 35 mobile portable toilets were stolen, with a total value of up to 40,000 pounds. These toilets were purchased just last year by Neil Griffiths, who runs a toilet rental company. The thieves pried open the padlocks and used a Ford van and trailer to transport the toilets away. The police are still pursuing the thieves. In this case, the large number and high value of the stolen mobile toilets, along with the relatively professional methods used by the thieves, who employed a van and trailer for transportation, suggest that this may have been an organized and premeditated theft, possibly for the purpose of resale for profit.
From these cases, it can be seen that the theft of mobile toilets is not an isolated incident and can occur in different regions and scenarios. Relevant departments and units should strengthen the management and protection of mobile toilets, such as by adding anti-theft facilities and enhancing patrol monitoring. At the same time, the public should also raise their legal awareness and refrain from committing theft out of immediate need or for petty gains.
