Storage Methods for Mobile Toilet Tents
Admin 05 de octubre de 2026
There are mainly two storage methods for mobile toilet tents, and you can choose the appropriate one based on the specific structure of the tent:

Method 1: Basic Folding Storage Method
- Initial Folding: Fold the entire tent in half, ensuring that the wider side of the tent's bottom faces you. During this step, pay attention to whether the tent's support structure is fully retracted to avoid difficulties in folding due to an unseated frame. After folding, the tent should be in a long, narrow shape with a width suitable for subsequent operations.
- Fabric Smoothing: Check if the fabric on the tent's surface is flat. If there are any wrinkles or twists, manually smooth them out to prevent fabric buildup after folding, which could affect the storage volume. Also, confirm that the tent's doors, windows, and other openings are fully closed to prevent debris from entering or the fabric from getting stuck in the gaps.
- Final Compression: Further roll or fold the folded tent along its length, choosing the appropriate amount of force based on the tent's material. If the tent is made of lightweight waterproof fabric, you can apply a bit more force to reduce its volume. If it is made of reinforced material, avoid applying excessive force to prevent frame deformation.
Method 2: Step-by-Step Pressing Storage Method (Suitable for toilet tents with support feet)
- Retract the Toilet Tent Body: First, disassemble or retract the independent functional parts of the toilet tent (such as the toilet and water storage device) to their smallest state to ensure they do not interfere with the folding of the tent body.
- Secure the Bottom Structure: Step on the semi-circular support feet at the bottom of the tent with your feet. This design is usually used to stabilize the tent, and it needs to be secured first during storage to prevent sliding. Apply even force when stepping to ensure full contact between the support feet and the ground.
- Press the Top Structure: Hold both sides of the top of the tent with your hands and apply downward pressure to bring the top towards the bottom. During this process, pay attention to the elasticity of the tent's frame to avoid sudden force that could cause the frame to rebound or be damaged.
- Push Back the Bottom Support: After pressing the top, grab both sides of the tent with your hands and push them back while keeping your feet fixed on the bottom support feet. When both sides are pushed to align with the bottom support feet, the bottom structure will automatically retract, completing the overall folding.
Precautions:
- Thoroughly clean the inside and outside of the tent before storage to prevent long-term stains from causing material aging.
- If the tent is equipped with ground stakes or wind ropes, disassemble them first and store them separately to prevent scratching the tent fabric.
- After storage, it is recommended to place the tent in a dedicated storage bag and store it in a dry and ventilated place to prevent mildew caused by a humid environment.
