Mobile Toilet Stall Installation

Admin 24 de septiembre de 2026

The installation of a mobile toilet stall must be carried out in accordance with standardized procedures to ensure safety and functionality. The specific steps and key points are as follows:

I. Pre-installation Preparations

  1. Site Survey
    Determine the installation location in advance, ensuring the ground is level and solid to avoid risks of tilting or settlement. The site should be away from main construction roads, pollution sources (such as septic tanks and garbage dumping areas), and areas with strong electromagnetic interference, while leaving sufficient operating space (it is recommended that the area around a single toilet be ≥0.5 meters).

  2. Material Verification
    Check the integrity of the toilet box, ensuring there are no cracks, deformations, or rust. Verify the list of accessories, including door locks, flush valves, sewage pipes, sealing tapes, and fixing bolts. Contact the supplier promptly for replacement of any missing or damaged parts.

  3. Foundation Preparation
    Clear debris from the ground and lay the foundation according to load-bearing requirements:

  • Gravel Foundation: Thickness ≥10 cm, compaction degree ≥90%, suitable for temporary or light-duty toilets;
  • Concrete Foundation: Strength grade ≥C20, thickness ≥15 cm, with pre-embedded holes for sewage pipes reserved, suitable for long-term fixed or heavy-duty toilets (the load-bearing capacity of a single toilet should be ≥200 kg/㎡).

II. On-site Installation Steps

  1. Box Positioning
    Use a forklift or crane to lift the toilet body steadily above the foundation and slowly lower it to the contact surface. Adjust the angle of the box with a level to ensure that all four corners fit snugly against the foundation, with an error ≤2 mm, to avoid door lock jamming or poor drainage due to tilting.

  2. Drainage Connection
    Connect the sewage pipe to the construction site drainage system or temporary collection pit. Wrap 3-5 turns of sealing tape around the joint or seal it with cement mortar, with a sealing layer thickness ≥2 cm. After connection, inject water into the sewage pipe to test the sealing performance. If there is no leakage for 10 minutes, it is considered qualified.

  3. Flush System Debugging
    Connect to the water source (the tap water pressure should be ≥0.2 MPa, or a dedicated water tank can be used). Open the flush valve to observe whether the water flow is uniform and whether the drainage pipe is unobstructed. If an induction flush device is used, test the induction sensitivity to ensure there is no false triggering or malfunction.

  4. Internal and External Inspection

  • Internal Facilities: Check whether fixed parts such as washbasins, hooks, and toilet paper holders are secure, with no looseness or shaking. Test the functions of lighting fixtures and ventilation windows, ensuring the voltage meets equipment requirements (usually 24 V or 12 V safety voltage);
  • External Sealing: Check whether the joints of the box and the area around the door frame are sealed. Apply soapy water to the joints and observe for 1 minute. If no bubbles appear, it ensures there are no air or water leaks.

III. Installation Features and Maintenance

Mobile toilet stalls adopt a frame structure, facilitating lifting and movement. They are equipped with basic facilities such as squat toilets or sit toilets and storage racks to meet basic usage needs. Daily cleaning by designated personnel and regular disinfection are required. Check the electrical circuits, valves, and flush systems monthly, and report for repair promptly if any abnormal noises or malfunctions are found to extend the service life of the equipment.
