Mobile Toilet Sinking Installation

Admin 21 de septiembre de 2026

Currently, there is no directly referenceable detailed method for the sinking installation of mobile toilets, but some ideas and steps from the installation of sunken bathrooms can be borrowed. Here are the relevant key points:

Design and Planning Phase

Comprehensive design should be carried out based on the size of the mobile toilet, usage requirements, and site conditions. Determine the layout of the mobile toilet, including the positions of various functional areas (such as the toilet area and the hand-washing area), and plan the direction and position of the drainage pipes at the same time. Consider whether the height and area of the sunken space can meet the installation requirements of the mobile toilet, as well as the convenience of subsequent maintenance and cleaning. For example, sufficient space should be reserved for inspecting and maintaining the drainage pipes.

Foundation Construction

Perform foundation treatment on the sunken area to ensure that the ground is level and solid. If the soil conditions in the sunken area are poor, reinforcement treatment may be required, such as compacting the soil or laying crushed stones, to enhance the bearing capacity of the foundation. At the same time, waterproofing treatment should be carried out to prevent groundwater from seeping into the sunken area and affecting the use of the mobile toilet. Waterproof membranes or waterproof coatings can be used for application to ensure that the waterproof layer is complete and seamless.

Drainage System Installation

This is a crucial step. Refer to the method of changing the floor drain pipes in sunken bathrooms and install the drainage pipes reasonably according to the drainage requirements of the mobile toilet. Ensure that the slope of the drainage pipes is appropriate, generally not less than 1%, to ensure that sewage can be discharged smoothly. During the installation process, pay attention to the connection and sealing of the pipes to prevent water leakage. Sealants or rubber sealing rings can be used at the pipe connections for sealing treatment.

Floor Construction

When backfilling, note that the wet area should be 5 - 6 centimeters lower than the dry area to facilitate the embedding of water baffles and prevent sewage from overflowing. The backfilling material can be a lightweight and permeable material such as ceramsite to reduce the pressure on the foundation. After backfilling, floor leveling should be carried out to provide a level ground for the subsequent installation of the mobile toilet.

Equipment Installation and Commissioning

Install various equipment of the mobile toilet, such as toilets and hand-washing basins, at the designated positions and connect and fix them. After installation, conduct a comprehensive commissioning to check whether the drainage is smooth and whether the equipment is operating normally. If any problems are found, make adjustments and repairs in a timely manner.
