Mobile Toilet Sewage Installation and Piping

Admin 13 de octubre de 2026

The installation and piping of sewage for mobile toilets require comprehensive consideration from aspects such as sewage outlet setup, pipeline layout specifications, material selection and installation, connection to municipal sewage networks, and daily maintenance to ensure smooth drainage and compliance with regulations.

Sewage Outlet Setup

The sewage outlet of a mobile toilet is typically located at the rear and needs to be equipped with a 110mm sewage pipe and a 25mm water inlet pipe. After being placed on the ground, it can be directly connected for use. This configuration is a standard design that can meet basic drainage needs, but attention must be paid to the sealing of the connections to prevent sewage leakage.

Pipeline Layout Specifications

  1. Basic Conditions: Sewage pipelines should be installed in areas with low terrain and less prone to water accumulation to prevent water damage to the pipes. The diameter of the main pipeline should be determined based on the number of toilets and the frequency of use, generally not less than 110mm, and the diameter of the branch pipes should be not less than 75mm to ensure sufficient drainage capacity.
  2. Direction and Slope: The direction of the pipeline should match the layout of the toilets, minimizing bends and intersections to reduce the risk of blockage. The drainage slope should be not less than 3‰ to ensure the natural flow of sewage; drainage wells or lifting devices should be installed in low-lying areas or at the end of the pipeline to prevent sewage accumulation.

Material Selection and Installation

  1. Material Requirements: Priority should be given to selecting pipe materials with good corrosion resistance and compressive performance, such as PVC pipes or HDPE pipes, to extend the service life of the pipeline.
  2. Installation Specifications: The pipeline connections should be tightly sealed to prevent leakage; the pipes should be firmly fixed during installation to prevent breakage due to ground settlement; the burial depth should generally be not less than 500mm to prevent freezing and cracking in winter, and specific adjustments should be made according to the local climate.

Connection to Municipal Sewage Networks

  1. Priority Connection to Municipal Sewage Networks: If conditions permit, the sewage pipeline should be directly connected to the municipal sewage network. It is necessary to communicate with the local drainage department in advance and go through the relevant procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  2. Temporary Treatment Facilities: If it is not possible to connect to the municipal sewage network, temporary sewage treatment facilities should be installed. The sewage should be treated to meet standards before being discharged to avoid environmental pollution.

Daily Maintenance and Inspection

  1. Regular Inspection: Regularly inspect the pipeline for blockages or leakage and promptly clean up debris; focus on checking the drainage capacity before the rainy season to ensure no water accumulation.
  2. Dedicated Maintenance Personnel: During the use of mobile toilets, dedicated personnel should be arranged to be responsible for the daily maintenance of the sewage pipeline. Any problems found should be dealt with immediately to ensure the stable operation of the system.
