How Do Mobile Toilets Dispose of Sewage
The sewage disposal methods for mobile toilets mainly include direct discharge and fecal tank, conventional water-flushing, vacuum sewage systems, water-storage sewage systems, and biodegradation technology.

Direct Discharge and Fecal Tank: The direct discharge method requires the mobile toilet to be connected to water supply and sewage pipes, through which the sewage is directly discharged. This method relies on well-established water supply and sewage facilities and is generally suitable for places with fixed access to water supply and sewage pipes. The fecal tank collects feces in a tank. When the tank is nearly full, it needs to be manually removed for cleaning and transportation. This method is relatively flexible and not restricted by water supply and sewage pipes, but it requires regular cleaning of the fecal tank, making the operation somewhat cumbersome.
Conventional Water-Flushing: This is the most common sewage disposal method. It requires connection to water supply and sewage pipes. The flushing is controlled manually or automatically by sensors, flushing the waste into the sewage pipes, which then discharge into septic tanks or municipal sewage networks. This method is suitable for various water-rich environments, such as public places like parks and squares in cities. Its construction cost is relatively low, and the technology is mature, but it requires a stable water supply and a well-established sewage discharge system.
Vacuum Sewage Systems: These systems use the principle of negative pressure for sewage disposal. A vacuum pump generates negative pressure to suck sewage and waste into a collection container. When the sewage in the public toilet reaches a preset water level, the vacuum pump automatically starts and quickly sucks the sewage and waste into the collection container. This method is highly efficient and uses very little water, effectively preventing sewage leakage and odor diffusion. It is suitable for places with high hygiene requirements and water shortages, such as some high-end tourist attractions and large-scale event venues.
Water-Storage Sewage Systems: These systems discharge waste into a water storage tank through water flushing. When the water storage tank is full, it needs to be cleaned and replaced. This method is suitable for places with sufficient water supply and easy cleaning, such as some temporarily built construction site toilets, which have an adequate water supply and can conveniently transport the full water storage tank away for cleaning.
Biodegradation Technology: This technology converts organic matter in sewage into harmless substances through the action of microorganisms and then discharges them. This method is environmentally friendly and can reduce sewage pollution to the environment, suitable for places with high environmental protection requirements, such as eco-tourism areas.
