How Do Mobile Toilets Dispose of Sewage
The sewage disposal methods for mobile toilets mainly include direct discharge and fecal tanks, conventional water-flushing systems, vacuum sewage systems, water-storage sewage systems, and biodegradation technology, among others.

Direct discharge and fecal tanks are relatively basic sewage disposal methods. Direct discharge requires connection to water supply and drainage pipes, directly discharging waste into the sewer system. Fecal tanks, on the other hand, collect waste in a dedicated fecal tank. When the tank is nearly full, specific cleaning methods, such as using a sewage suction truck, are employed to extract and transport the waste for disposal. This method is suitable for locations with relatively low sewage disposal requirements and corresponding cleaning conditions.
The conventional water-flushing system is currently a more common sewage disposal method. It requires connection to water supply and drainage pipes, initiating the flushing process through manual pressing of a flush button or an automatic sensing device, and flushing waste into a septic tank or municipal sewer network. This sewage disposal method is applicable to various water-rich environments and has relatively low construction costs, making it widely used in mobile toilets in many public places.
The vacuum sewage system utilizes the principle of negative pressure. A vacuum pump generates negative pressure to rapidly suck sewage and waste into a collection container. When the sewage in the public toilet reaches a preset water level, the vacuum pump automatically starts working. This sewage disposal method is highly efficient, uses minimal water, effectively prevents sewage leakage and odor diffusion, and maintains the cleanliness and hygiene of the public toilet. It is commonly used in locations with high hygiene requirements and limited water availability.
The water-storage sewage system also disposes of waste through water flushing, directing it into a storage tank. When the storage tank is full, it requires cleaning and replacement. This method is suitable for locations with an abundant water supply and convenient cleaning arrangements, such as areas near large events with a water supply and the ability to easily organize cleaning work.
Biodegradation technology is a relatively environmentally friendly sewage disposal method. It utilizes the action of microorganisms to convert organic matter in sewage into harmless substances before discharge, reducing sewage pollution to the environment and aligning with the concept of sustainable development. It is gradually being applied in locations with high environmental protection requirements.
