How Mobile Toilets Dispose of Sewage

Admin 20 de septiembre de 2026

The sewage disposal methods for mobile toilets mainly include direct discharge and fecal tanks, conventional water-flushing systems, vacuum sewage systems, water-storage sewage systems, and other disposal methods.

Direct discharge and fecal tanks are relatively basic sewage disposal methods. Direct discharge requires connecting to upper and lower water pipes to directly discharge feces and other waste through the pipes. Fecal tanks collect feces in a specific tank, which is then cleaned up collectively when full. This method is suitable for places with low sewage disposal requirements and where it is convenient to regularly clean the fecal tanks.

The conventional water-flushing system is a relatively common sewage disposal method that requires connecting to upper and lower water pipes. By manually or automatically activating the flushing device, waste is flushed into the sewage pipes and eventually discharged into septic tanks or municipal sewage networks. This sewage disposal method is suitable for various water-rich environments and has relatively low construction costs. It is widely used in mobile toilets in many public places.

The vacuum sewage system utilizes the principle of negative pressure. A vacuum pump generates negative pressure to suck sewage and waste into a collection container. When the sewage in the public toilet reaches a preset water level, the vacuum pump automatically starts and quickly removes the waste. This sewage disposal method is highly efficient, uses very little water, and effectively prevents sewage leakage and odor diffusion. It is commonly used in places with high environmental requirements and limited water availability.

The water-storage sewage system discharges waste into a storage tank through water flushing. When the sewage in the public toilet reaches a preset water level, the flushing device automatically starts and flushes the waste into the storage tank. It is suitable for places with sufficient water sources and where it is convenient to clean up, such as near large-scale event venues where there is a water supply and it is easy to transport and clean the storage tanks.

In addition, some mobile public toilets use biodegradation technology for sewage disposal. This technology converts organic matter in sewage into harmless substances for discharge, which is environmentally friendly and reduces environmental pollution. It is a relatively advanced sewage disposal method but is currently less widely used, mainly in special places with extremely high environmental protection requirements.
