How Does a Mobile Toilet Dispose of Sewage?
Mobile toilets have various sewage disposal methods, including conventional water flushing, vacuum sewage systems, water storage sewage systems, and biodegradation technology.

Conventional Water Flushing: This is the most common sewage disposal method. It requires connection to water supply and drainage pipes, and achieves sewage disposal through manual or automatic sensing. After use, pressing the flush button or when the human body leaves the sensing area, water will flush away the waste, and the sewage will be discharged into a septic tank or municipal sewer network. This sewage disposal method is suitable for various environments with water supply, such as some public places and scenic spots in cities. Its construction cost is relatively low because the technology is mature, the required equipment and materials are commonly available in the market, and installation and maintenance are relatively simple.
Vacuum Sewage System: It utilizes negative pressure principles for sewage disposal. A vacuum pump generates negative pressure to suck sewage and waste into a collection container. When the sewage reaches a preset water level, the system automatically activates to discharge the sewage. This sewage disposal method is efficient and uses less water, saving a significant amount of water resources compared to conventional water flushing. Additionally, due to the negative pressure environment, it effectively prevents sewage leakage and odor diffusion, ensuring a hygienic and comfortable usage environment. It is commonly used in places with high environmental requirements, such as upscale hotels and airports.
Water Storage Sewage System: This system also flushes waste into a storage tank using water. When the sewage in the storage tank reaches a certain level, i.e., when the tank is full, manual cleaning and replacement are required. This method is suitable for places with sufficient water supply and easy cleaning, such as some large-scale event venues where there is an adequate water supply and a dedicated cleaning team can promptly handle the storage tank.
Biodegradation Technology: This is a relatively environmentally friendly sewage disposal method. It utilizes microorganisms to convert organic matter in sewage into harmless substances before discharge. This method reduces environmental pollution and aligns with sustainable development concepts. It is widely applied in some scenic spots or ecological parks that emphasize environmental protection.
