Mobile Toilet Renovation Process

Admin 23 de septiembre de 2026

The renovation process for mobile toilets is divided into three types based on different scenarios: factory-prefabricated, on-site customized, and simple self-made. The specific processes are as follows:

I. Renovation Process for Factory-Prefabricated Mobile Toilets

1. Factory Prefabrication Stage
The main frame is welded using steel (such as channel steel and square steel) to ensure structural stability. Wall materials are selected from color-coated steel plates, fiberglass-reinforced plastics, or stainless steel, balancing lightweight properties with corrosion resistance. Some high-end products integrate solar power systems or water-saving flushing devices to adapt to outdoor scenarios without water and electricity access.
2. Interior Renovation Stage
Water supply and drainage connections are reserved in the factory, and basic fixtures such as toilets and sinks are installed. Sealing tests are a critical step, requiring pressurized testing to ensure no pipeline leakage. Some products adopt anti-odor floor drains to enhance the user experience.
3. On-Site Installation Stage
Users only need to connect external water supply and sewage pipelines, test the compatibility of the water and electricity systems, and the toilet can be put into use. The entire process is usually completed within 2 hours, suitable for rapid deployment scenarios such as exhibitions and temporary events.

II. Renovation Process for On-Site Customized Mobile Toilets

1. Design Stage
Comprehensive consideration must be given to climatic conditions (e.g., adding wall insulation layers in northern winters), usage frequency, and space utilization. The standard interior size is 1.5-2 square meters, with maintenance access reserved for later upkeep.
2. Material Selection Stage
The main frame is preferably made of stainless steel or aluminum alloy, offering better corrosion resistance than ordinary steel. Wall materials are selected from color-coated steel plates or anti-corrosion wooden boards. The floor must be slip-resistant and have a slope (≥2%) to ensure smooth drainage.
3. Construction and Installation Stage

  • Foundation Construction: Pour C20 concrete to harden the ground, with a thickness of no less than 15 cm, and embed water and electricity pipelines.
  • Main Frame Assembly: Adopt a modular assembly method, with high-strength bolts used at frame connections.
  • Interior Renovation: Install water-saving toilets (daily water consumption ≤4L) and sensor-activated sinks. The electrical system must be equipped with leakage protection devices.
  • Environmental Protection Techniques: In cold regions, biological degradation technology is used for fecal treatment, and solar panel power systems can meet basic lighting needs.

III. Renovation Process for Simple Self-Made Mobile Toilets

1. Structural Modification Stage
Taking a discarded water storage tank as an example, a door opening (size 60cm×180cm) and drainage outlet need to be cut using a plasma cutter. Square steel brackets are welded at the bottom, and universal wheels (bearing capacity ≥200kg) are installed.
2. Interior Installation Stage
Secure a portable toilet (preferably with a fecal storage tank) and a mini sink. The water inlet pipe uses PPR pipe (DN20 specification), and the drainage pipe must be equipped with a U-shaped water seal to prevent odor backflow.
3. Detail Handling Stage
Use neutral silicone sealant to seal all pipeline connections. The door panel is connected with hinges and equipped with a lock. The exterior is sprayed with anti-rust paint to extend service life. This type of toilet is suitable for family emergencies or small outdoor activities, with costs controllable within 500 yuan.

Process Selection Advice: For short-term use, factory-prefabricated types are recommended; for long-term fixed locations, on-site customized types are suitable; when resources are limited, simple self-made solutions can be considered. All types require regular inspection of seal aging to ensure hygiene and safety.
