Mobile Toilet Quick Installation Tips

Admin 02 de octubre de 2026

Here are the quick installation tips for mobile toilets:

Pre-installation Planning and Preparation

  • Site Assessment and Location Selection: Survey the layout of the event or construction area. Place the mobile toilets in locations that are easy for users to find and reach, such as the edges of densely populated areas or near walkways. Consider wind direction to avoid placing them upwind of the event area, preventing odors from affecting the event. Ensure the ground is level and firm. It is best if the location is close to existing water supply points and sewage discharge connections; if not, plan the routes for water trucks and fecal suction trucks in advance.
  • Determining Requirements and Specifications Selection: Accurately calculate the number and type of toilets needed based on factors such as the expected number of participants, duration of the event, and gender ratio. Single-unit mobile toilets are flexible and can be deployed quickly, but their service capacity per unit is limited, making them suitable for small events or temporary use. Large units have comprehensive functions but require more space for placement and more complex connection work, making them suitable for large events or long-term use scenarios.
  • Material and Personnel Preparation: Prepare supporting materials, such as pads for stabilizing the toilets on soft ground, drinking-water-grade hoses for connecting to the water supply, sewage pipes, wrenches, spirit levels, and other tools, as well as cleaning and disinfecting supplies, toilet paper, hand soap, and other consumables. Arrange installation personnel or teams with relevant knowledge to ensure they understand basic water and electricity connection knowledge and safety operation procedures.

On-site Installation Steps

  • Site Leveling and Positioning: Clear debris from the selected area to ensure the ground is level. If the ground is soft grass or mud, lay pads or wooden planks to distribute the load. Use measuring tools to determine the exact position of each toilet unit, taking into full consideration the spacing between units and the space for people to queue, avoiding congestion.
  • Unit Placement and Stabilization: Use a forklift or a dedicated trailer to place the mobile toilet units at the predetermined positions. Check if they are level using a spirit level. If not level, adjust the toilet's bottom adjusting feet or insert wedges to level them, ensuring all units are stable and do not wobble to prevent accidents during use.
  • System Connection: For toilets that require a water supply, connect one end of the drinking-water-grade hose to a reliable water source and the other end to the toilet's water inlet, ensuring a tight and leak-free connection. Turn on the water source to check the water pressure and vent the air in the pipes to ensure normal water supply. Sewage connection should be carried out according to the actual situation. For the installation of some mobile toilets, after receiving the goods, prepare an electric drill, a 4.2-millimeter drill bit, and a rivet gun. First, install the inner corners one by one, then insert the panels into the slots, align them after splicing, drill holes with the drill bit, insert rivets, and secure them with the rivet gun.
