Mobile Toilet Profiles

Admin 07 de octubre de 2026

Common profiles used in mobile toilets include fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), polyethylene, metal carved panels, as well as traditional or auxiliary materials such as wood and honeycomb wood panels.

The selection of profiles for mobile toilets needs to balance portability, durability, water resistance, and environmental friendliness, with different materials suitable for different scenarios.

1. Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) and Polyethylene FRP (glass fiber reinforced plastic) and polyethylene are common profiles for mobile toilets. FRP is characterized by its lightweight yet high strength, corrosion resistance, and ease of molding. It is often used in the manufacture of toilet shells and sewage storage tanks, effectively resisting corrosion in humid environments and extending service life. Polyethylene, on the other hand, is renowned for its chemical resistance and strong impact resistance. It is mostly used in sewage storage tanks or integral toilet structures, with its sealing properties preventing sewage leakage and making it suitable for long-term outdoor use.

2. Metal Carved Panels (Steel Structure Toilets) The walls of steel structure mobile toilets often employ metal carved panels. These profiles are based on galvanized steel sheets, with embossed surfaces and coated with fluorocarbon paint, combining aesthetics with functionality. Their advantages include: high strength, capable of supporting the overall structure; good fire resistance, meeting public building safety standards; and easy installation, with modular design shortening construction periods. Additionally, metal carved panels are filled with insulation materials in the middle, enhancing the toilet's thermal insulation performance and adapting to environments with large temperature variations.

3. Traditional and Auxiliary Materials In the early days, wood was used in mobile toilets, but it has gradually been phased out due to its susceptibility to decay and high maintenance costs. However, in homemade portable restrooms, wood may still be used for the frame structure, paired with universal wheels for mobility. Honeycomb wood panels, being lightweight yet strong in load-bearing capacity, are occasionally used for toilet floors or partitions, but require waterproofing treatment. Plastic soft panels are mostly used for internal partitions or decorations, with their flexibility adapting to irregular spaces, but their durability is relatively poor, requiring regular replacement.

4. Factors Influencing Material Selection The selection of profiles needs to comprehensively consider usage scenarios, costs, and maintenance requirements. For example, tourist attractions or temporary event venues may prioritize FRP or polyethylene toilets for their portability and ease of cleaning; while mobile toilets intended for long-term fixed use (such as construction sites) may adopt steel structures to enhance durability and safety. Additionally, regions with high environmental requirements may lean towards recyclable materials, such as polyethylene, which has a high recycling rate and aligns with sustainable development principles.
