Mobile Toilet Processor
A mobile toilet processor is an environmentally friendly device that utilizes physical, chemical, and biological technologies to treat excreta, enabling resource utilization or compliant discharge. Its core functions include solid-liquid separation, microbial degradation, and intelligent environmental control.

I. Flush-Free Mobile Toilet Processor
This type of processor relies on the synergy of physical and chemical processes, with the core treatment occurring in the collection device beneath the toilet. Key technologies include:
- Solidification and Degradation Materials: By adding polymer solidifying agents (capable of absorbing 300 times their own weight in water) or microbial degradation agents (containing mesophilic and thermophilic bacteria), rapid solidification or biological decomposition of excreta is achieved. The solidifying agent can reduce excreta volume by approximately 90%, while the degradation materials accelerate organic matter decomposition through enzymatic reactions, simultaneously suppressing the production of odors such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide.
- Independent Ventilation System: Some models are equipped with one-way ventilation ducts that utilize air pressure differentials to guide air from the outside in and discharge it after treatment, preventing internal gas leakage and ensuring an odor-free usage environment.
- Modular Design: The system consists of a collection unit, a treatment unit, and a control unit, with each module physically isolated to enhance equipment stability. For example, the control unit can monitor the remaining amount of treatment materials in real-time and automatically replenish them, reducing manual maintenance costs.
II. Solid-Liquid Separation Processor
This type of equipment achieves excreta resource utilization through mechanical separation technology:
- Solid-Liquid Diversion Treatment: Solid excreta enters a fermentation tank via an electrically controlled valve, where it is decomposed into odorless solid fertilizer under the synergistic action of mesophilic and thermophilic bacteria at temperatures between 45-65°C. Liquid excreta, on the other hand, undergoes membrane filtration or chemical precipitation to meet Class II water standards, allowing for direct discharge or use in biogas power generation.
- Intelligent Environmental Control: Equipped with a sensor network, it continuously monitors ammonia and hydrogen sulfide concentrations, temperature, humidity, and lighting conditions within public toilets. By automatically starting and stopping exhaust fans, adjusting heating devices, or turning on lights, it maintains a comfortable environment. For instance, when ammonia concentration exceeds 15ppm, the system immediately activates strong ventilation and sprays deodorizers.
III. Market Applications and Costs
Currently, there are numerous brands of mobile toilet processors on the market, with significant price variations. Basic models (with only solidification functions) cost approximately 3,000-8,000 yuan, while high-end devices integrating solid-liquid separation, biogas power generation, and intelligent monitoring can reach 20,000-50,000 yuan. When selecting a processor, it is essential to comprehensively evaluate cost-effectiveness based on usage scenarios (such as tourist attractions, construction sites, or temporary events) and treatment scale (daily treatment capacity of 50-500 people).
