Popularization of Mobile Toilets

Admin 21 de septiembre de 2026

The popularization of mobile toilets varies across different regions and application scenarios. Taking Hohhot as an example, it has a high level of popularization, a wide range of application scenarios, continuously innovative technological forms, and plans to further increase the popularization rate in the future.

I. High Level of Popularization
Hohhot has a high level of popularization of outdoor mobile toilets, with an average density of 1.2 units per square kilometer in the main urban area, higher than the national standard. In cultural and tourism core areas, such as the Dazhao Historical and Cultural Block, the Chichengtuan Grassland Camping Area, and the Zhaojun Museum, mobile toilets are well-configured, with a coverage rate of 82% in cultural and tourism spots. In municipal service belts, such as the exits of Metro Line 1 and main roads like Genghis Khan Avenue, mobile toilets are also widely installed, with a 100% popularization rate in new construction projects in 2023.

II. Wide Range of Application Scenarios
The popularization of mobile toilets is not only reflected in quantity but also in their diverse application scenarios. In addition to conventional cultural and tourism attractions and municipal service belts, mobile toilets are also widely used in special demand locations such as the Naadam Festival, construction sites, and epidemic quarantine areas. The needs for mobile toilets in these scenarios vary. For example, the Naadam Festival requires temporary and convenient sanitation facilities, construction sites need durable and easy-to-maintain toilets, and epidemic quarantine areas require mobile toilets with epidemic prevention functions.

III. Innovative Technological Forms
To meet the needs of different scenarios, the technological forms of mobile toilets are constantly innovating. Currently, various types of mobile toilets, such as microbial degradation and foam sealing types, have emerged on the market. These new types of mobile toilets not only have better environmental performance but also effectively reduce odors and bacterial growth, enhancing the user experience.

IV. Clear Future Plans
In the future, Hohhot plans to add 1,200 new mobile toilet locations, focusing on filling the gaps in suburban areas and old residential communities. This plan will further increase the popularization of mobile toilets and provide citizens with more convenient and hygienic toilet facilities.
