Mobile Toilet Placement Points

Admin 23 de septiembre de 2026

Mobile toilet placement points need to be scientifically planned according to the characteristics of the scene. Here are specific layout suggestions and precautions:

I. Scene-based Layout Principles

  1. Core Areas and Large-scale Event Venues: Areas with high foot traffic, such as sports centers and music festival sites, should be prioritized for coverage. Set up one mobile toilet for every 500 people, placing them at audience entrances, the sides of stands, or beside busy walkways to ensure a walking distance of no more than 50 meters. For large outdoor events like marathons or open-air film festivals, distribute mobile toilets throughout the audience area, dining area, and entrances/exits to avoid queues and congestion.
  2. Transportation Hubs: Stations like train stations and bus terminals should arrange mobile toilets based on foot traffic density, for example, placing one mobile toilet every 500 square meters. During peak hours, set up temporary points and assign dedicated staff for management.
  3. Construction Sites and Residential Areas: On construction sites, place mobile toilets near worker rest areas, no more than 100 meters from work sites. During renovations in older residential areas, install larger-capacity models in community squares or entrances, and clean sewage daily to control odors.
  4. Parks and Scenic Spots: During holidays, add 2-3 mobile toilets in concentrated tourist areas like docks and observation decks, avoiding densely vegetated areas and choosing high-ground locations with good drainage. In historical and cultural districts or ecological parks, allocate one mobile toilet every 1000 square meters, reserving barrier-free facilities and maintaining discretion.
  5. Emergency and Special Scenarios: Quickly deploy mobile toilets in post-disaster relief sites, using them in conjunction with septic tanks or mobile toilet trucks. For outdoor weddings or private gatherings, arrange several groups around the venue based on the number of attendees to enhance the restroom experience.

II. Key Precautions

  1. Site Selection Safety: Avoid low-lying and flood-prone areas, choosing locations at least 30 centimeters above the surrounding ground and away from rivers or water accumulation points to prevent rainwater backflow.
  2. Ventilation and Hygiene: Reserve more than 2 square meters of activity space around public toilets, install exhaust fans or natural ventilation devices, clean and disinfect daily, and inspect water and electricity facilities.
  3. Compliance: Temporary points must be reported to urban management departments to avoid occupying fire lanes. For long-term use, it is recommended to choose environmentally friendly flush-type or waterless packing-type toilets to reduce environmental pollution.
  4. Capacity and Sewage Disposal: Estimate demand by allocating one toilet cubicle for every 200-300 people and clarify the sewage disposal plan (self-contained sewage tanks require regular pumping, while direct-discharge types are suitable for long-term fixed locations).
  5. Supporting Facilities: For mobile toilets with shower functions, plan water and power supply interfaces in advance, assign dedicated staff for maintenance and cleaning during events, and plan access routes for sewage trucks.
