Mobile Toilet Piping

Admin 22 de septiembre de 2026

Mobile toilet piping typically uses PVC pipes as the main material, combined with compatible connectors to achieve drainage functionality. The specific plan requires selecting pipes and accessories based on design requirements.

1. Common Pipe Materials and Accessory Types

  1. PVC Pipes:

    • Straight Pipes: As the main drainage channel, appropriate specifications (such as diameters of 50mm or 75mm) should be selected based on the length of the drainage path in the mobile toilet.
    • Elbows: Used to change the drainage direction (e.g., 90° or 45° elbows), adapting to spatial layout requirements. It is essential to ensure that the bending radius meets the requirements for smooth drainage.
    • Tees: Used in branched drainage scenarios (e.g., connecting multiple sewage outlets). Models with strong sealing should be selected to prevent leakage.
  2. Toilet Offset Adapters and Accessories:

    • PVC Toilet Connection Offset Pipes: By extending or adjusting the position of the sewage pipe, they solve the problem of mismatched pit distances (e.g., when the original pit distance is 300mm and needs to be moved to 400mm).
    • Toilet Offset Adapters: Usually made of thickened PP material, they support horizontal offset (the maximum offset distance varies by product, generally not exceeding 300mm) and need to be connected to PVC pipes using dedicated connectors.
    • Wall-Drain to Floor-Drain Conversion Accessories: If a mobile toilet needs to convert a wall-mounted toilet to a floor-mounted one, a conversion connector with a sealing ring should be used to ensure no leakage at the interface.

2. Key Points for Piping Plan Design

  1. Drainage Method Adaptation:

    • Direct Drainage: Directly discharge sewage through PVC pipes to a septic tank or municipal sewer network. The pipe diameter slope (generally ≥2%) needs to be calculated to ensure drainage speed.
    • Sewage Storage: A sealing valve or U-shaped trap should be installed at the end of the sewage pipe to prevent odor backflow. At the same time, corrosion-resistant PVC pipes should be selected.
  2. Spatial Layout Optimization:

    • If the internal space of the mobile toilet is limited, foldable or telescopic PVC pipes can be used to reduce occupied volume.
    • The pipe route should avoid load-bearing structures or electrical wiring. If necessary, use elbows to adjust the path.
  3. Sealing and Leak Prevention Measures:

    • All connections should be coated with PVC-specific glue or fitted with rubber sealing rings to ensure tight interfaces.
    • Regularly check for pipe aging (such as PVC pipes becoming brittle or cracked) and promptly replace damaged components.

3. Market Product Selection Recommendations

Prioritize selecting pipes and accessories that have passed national certification (such as PVC pipes conforming to the GB/T 5836.1 standard) and pay attention to product compatibility (e.g., the diameter match between the offset adapter and the toilet sewage outlet). For high-frequency usage scenarios, thickened pipes can be selected to extend service life.
