Mobile Toilet Pipeline Insulation
Mobile toilet pipeline insulation can be carried out from three aspects: basic insulation, pipeline anti-freezing, and other preventive measures against freezing.

In terms of basic insulation: The wall adopts a composite design of an outer color steel plate and an inner fireproof board, with a 5cm-thick polyurethane foam or rock wool insulation layer filled in between. This structure can effectively block external low temperatures and reduce heat transfer. The doors and windows are sealed with EPDM rubber strips to prevent cold air from infiltrating through gaps. The ventilation openings are upgraded to temperature-controlled louver devices that can automatically adjust the opening and closing angles according to the ambient temperature, reducing heat loss while ensuring ventilation. The drainage system requires special treatment. Expanded perlite with good thermal insulation properties is filled around the trap of the squat toilet to prevent the trap from freezing. The drainage pipes are wrapped with a 50mm-thick insulation layer to slow down the decrease in water temperature inside the pipes.
In terms of pipeline anti-freezing: An electric tracing system can be installed. Self-regulating heating cables (with a power of 8W/M) are wound around the pipes, and a smart temperature control box is provided. When the sensor detects that the temperature is below 5℃, the system automatically starts. The aluminum foil heat conduction layer ensures that a total power of 75W can maintain the pipe surface temperature above 5℃ in an environment of -15℃, effectively preventing the pipes from freezing and cracking. At the same time, auxiliary insulation measures are taken. All pipelines are covered with rubber insulating sleeves to reduce heat loss. Key nodes such as valves are overlaid with double-layer insulation materials to enhance local insulation effects.
Other preventive measures against freezing: For water pipes and faucets exposed outdoors, they should be tightly wrapped with insulation materials such as cotton and linen fabrics, foam plastics, and old clothes. Special attention should be paid to protecting the joints. After wrapping, a waterproof plastic sheet should be added on the outside to prevent moisture, which would otherwise reduce the thermal insulation performance of the insulation materials. When the temperature is below 0℃, the faucet can be turned to a thin stream of water (such as a thread-like stream) at night to keep the water in the pipes flowing and prevent freezing. The dripping water can be collected in a container for use in washing and other purposes to save water. When not in use for a long time, turn off the main water valve, open the faucet to drain the water in the pipes. Users of solar water heaters need to drain the water in the pipes in advance to prevent the water in the pipes from freezing and expanding, which could damage the pipes. Close the doors and windows of the bathroom to keep the indoor temperature above 0℃. Insulation materials such as straw mats can be covered to reduce indoor heat loss. An auxiliary heating device for winding around water pipes can also be installed, which automatically heats when the temperature is below minus 2 degrees Celsius, providing additional heat protection for the pipes.
