Self-Rescue Methods for Overturned Mobile Toilets
If a mobile toilet overturns, you can first try basic door-opening methods, using your body strength to push the door, utilizing impact force, etc., for self-rescue. If all these methods are ineffective, resort to destructive escape measures while contacting the outside world promptly and staying calm.

1. Basic Door-Opening Methods First, inspect the door lock structure and attempt to manually unlock the door bolt. Most mobile toilet door bolts are simply designed and can be opened directly if undamaged. If the door bolt is stuck, use a hard object (such as a key or card) to assist in prying it open, avoiding the use of sharp objects that may cut your hands. Maintain a stable body center of gravity during operation to prevent imbalance due to excessive force.
2. Using Body Strength to Push the Door
- Method 1: Step on the bottom of the door panel with your foot and push the entire toilet upward, keeping the door grounded while tilting the rest of the toilet backward. This action may loosen the catch structure and create space to open the door.
- Method 2: If the door is tightly against the ground, use your legs to brace against the inside bottom of the toilet while grabbing the door frame or top structure with both hands. Push the box upward with force to create a gap between the door and the ground for escape.
- Method 3: If space permits, sway your body back and forth to change your center of gravity, causing the door to turn upward and creating an opportunity to open it. Be mindful of protecting your head to avoid collisions during operation.
3. Utilizing Impact Force If the above methods are ineffective, forcefully撞 (collide with) the wall on one side of the toilet, using the impact force to slightly overturn the toilet. This method may attract outside attention, but control the force to avoid secondary injuries caused by violent shaking.
4. Destructive Escape Measures (Last Resort) If all methods are ineffective and no other tools are available, repeatedly kick the junction between the roof and the wall (usually a weak structural point) with your foot, applying continuous force until a gap is created. This method may cause noise or structural damage but can be a last resort to争取 (strive for) escape opportunities. Be mindful of protecting your own safety during operation to avoid being cut by debris.
5. Contacting the Outside World Promptly and Staying Calm Regardless of the self-rescue measures taken, contact the outside world via your mobile phone immediately: Prioritize calling relatives or friends to explain your trapped location and situation; if in a public place (such as a shopping mall or office building), contact the building's property management or security personnel; if unable to reach acquaintances, directly call 110 or 119 for help, clearly stating the address, toilet type (such as mobile toilet/fixed restroom), and duration of being trapped. Stay calm to avoid excessive physical exertion due to panic; if trapped in a confined space (such as a windowless toilet), pay attention to ventilation to prevent oxygen deficiency; while waiting for rescue, create rhythmic sounds by knocking on pipes or walls to facilitate outside positioning.
