Mobile Toilet Odor Removal and Ventilation System

Admin 27 de septiembre de 2026

The odor removal and ventilation system for mobile toilets mainly includes four types: natural ventilation, mechanical ventilation, odor removal ventilation, and intelligent ventilation.

Natural ventilation systems are relatively basic. They rely on ventilation openings set on the walls, such as louver windows, and use natural wind power to achieve air exchange. The advantages of this system are quite significant. It has a simple structure, does not require complex equipment and technical support, and is energy-saving and environmentally friendly, without the need for additional energy consumption. However, it also has obvious drawbacks. The ventilation effect is greatly influenced by wind power. When there is no wind outside, the ventilation efficiency becomes very low, making it difficult to effectively improve the air quality inside the toilet.

Mechanical ventilation systems are more flexible and efficient. Among them, exhaust fan ventilation is a relatively common method, which directly extracts the foul air from the toilet by installing exhaust fans. However, during use, the air inlet needs to be reasonably set; otherwise, negative pressure problems may occur, affecting the ventilation effect. The combined supply and exhaust ventilation is more advanced. It enables precise control of the direction and speed of air flow through the coordinated operation of supply fans and exhaust fans, maintaining the balance of indoor air pressure. The ventilation effect is stable and reliable, and is not interfered with by external wind power and other factors.

The odor removal ventilation system adds odor removal functions on the basis of ventilation. It is equipped with activated carbon adsorption devices or photocatalytic oxidation equipment. Activated carbon has a strong adsorption capacity and can effectively adsorb odor molecules in the air; the photocatalytic oxidation equipment can use light energy to decompose and convert odor substances into harmless substances, thereby effectively removing odors inside the toilet and improving air quality.

The intelligent ventilation system is a product of technological development. It uses sensors to monitor parameters such as air quality and humidity, and automatically adjusts the ventilation volume according to changes in these parameters. For example, in an STM32-based intelligent public toilet system, MQ136 hydrogen sulfide sensors and MQ137 ammonia sensors are used to detect gases. When harmful gases such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide exceed the standard, the system will automatically turn on the fans for ventilation, achieving intelligent control and providing users with a more comfortable and convenient user experience.
