Mobile Toilet Network Connection Failure

Admin 11 de octubre de 2026

The failure of network connection in mobile toilets may be caused by router, location, environmental, or mobile network issues, and can be resolved by replacing equipment, adjusting location, enhancing signal, etc.

Router Issues

If the router used by the company is of poor quality or has unstable signals, areas such as toilets may not be able to connect to the network due to insufficient signal coverage. Old or low-end routers have limited transmission power and antenna performance, making it difficult to cope with complex wall-penetration requirements. The solution is to replace it with a better-quality, more stable-signal router to improve network coverage and stability.

Toilet Location Issues

If the toilet is far from the router or there are many obstacles in between, such as ordinary cement brick walls which have moderate signal absorption capacity, and the steel bars inside load-bearing walls which have a strong shielding effect on electromagnetic waves, the signal will attenuate severely when passing through multiple walls, especially load-bearing walls containing steel bars, affecting the stability of the network connection. Toilets are usually located in the middle or corners of buildings, and after closing the door, the signal has difficulty entering through diffraction. The solution is to move the router to a location closer to the toilet, place it in the center of the building, in an open and relatively high position (it is recommended to be 1 - 1.2 meters above the ground), away from metal objects, fish tanks, and microwave ovens to reduce signal attenuation. Adjust the direction of the external antennas; usually, having one vertical and one horizontal helps cover different directions.

Toilet Environmental Issues

The toilet environment may interfere with network signals, for example, many metal objects (toilets usually use metal pipes and walls for privacy), a humid environment, indoor fish tanks (water bodies), large metal objects, etc., can absorb or reflect signals, affecting signal propagation. In addition, there may be other electronic devices or buildings around the toilet that may interfere with the stability of wireless signals. The solution is to try to avoid using metal objects in the toilet or maintain a dry environment to reduce interference with network signals.

Mobile Network Issues

Poor mobile phone signal quality often occurs between outdoor base stations and buildings. The macro base stations of operators mainly cover outdoor areas, and their signals have already been greatly attenuated when penetrating into indoor spaces. The solution is to use a Wi-Fi network. If Wi-Fi is available, you can connect to a reliable Wi-Fi network.

If the problem persists, it is recommended to contact the company's IT department or professional technicians for troubleshooting and resolution.
