National Standards for Mobile Toilets
The national standards related to mobile toilets mainly include those for waterless flushing sanitary toilets, internal configurations of mobile environmental protection public toilets, and smart toilet seats (which may be equipped in some mobile toilets). Details are as follows:

Waterless flushing sanitary toilets: This type of mobile toilet adheres to the GB/T18092-2000 'Waterless Flushing Sanitary Toilets' standard for regulation. This standard, which came into effect on October 1, 2000, details requirements for the design, construction, use, and maintenance of waterless flushing sanitary toilets. It aims to ensure that these toilets can be used normally and hygienically in areas without water sources or where water is scarce, effectively addressing the issue of difficult access to toilets in these regions while also contributing to water conservation and protection.
Internal configurations of mobile environmental protection public toilets: The internal configurations of mobile environmental protection public toilets must comply with the GBLT18091-92 standard. This standard primarily focuses on the internal facilities of mobile environmental protection public toilets, such as toilet bowls, washbasins, lighting, and ventilation, proposing specific technical requirements and configuration norms to ensure that these toilets can meet basic hygiene and comfort needs during use, providing users with a good toilet environment.
Smart toilet seats: For mobile toilets equipped with smart toilet seats, these seats must adhere to the GB/T 34549-2024 'Sanitary Ware - Smart Toilet Seats' standard, as well as the mandatory national standard GB 38448—2025 'Limit Values and Grades for Energy Efficiency and Water Efficiency of Smart Toilet Seats', which will come into effect in April 2027. The former primarily specifies requirements for the performance, safety, and environmental protection of smart toilet seats, while the latter sets limits and grades for the energy efficiency and water efficiency of smart toilet seats, aiming to promote energy conservation, emission reduction, and sustainable development in the smart toilet seat industry, while also providing consumers with clearer and more transparent product selection criteria.
