Mobile Toilet Model Sizes
The model sizes of mobile toilets vary depending on the type. Here are the common types and their size ranges:

Single-Compartment Mobile Toilet The length is typically 1.2-1.5 meters, the width is 1.0-1.2 meters, and the height is 2.2-2.5 meters. These toilets are suitable for construction sites, small events, etc. They have a compact space and basic functions. Some models, such as the PT-280, have dimensions of 1 meter × 1 meter, making them suitable for temporary and low-frequency use. When designing, ensure that the width of the toilet compartment is no less than 0.9 meters to meet basic comfort requirements.
Double-Compartment Mobile Toilet The length ranges from 2.4-3.0 meters, the width is 1.2-1.5 meters, and the height is 2.2-2.5 meters. They are suitable for large events, tourist attractions, etc., and can accommodate two people simultaneously, improving turnover efficiency. For barrier-free toilets, special attention should be paid to the door width design to ensure wheelchair accessibility, in compliance with the requirements for barrier-free facilities in the Urban Public Toilet Design Standard (CJJ 14-2016).
Multi-Functional Mobile Toilet The length can reach 3.0-4.5 meters, the width is 2.0-2.5 meters, and the height is 2.5-3.0 meters. These toilets have more comprehensive functions and may be equipped with an independent sink, storage space, or special treatment systems (such as foam-flushing technology). They are suitable for high-end events, long-term fixed locations, etc. Due to technical characteristics, foam-flushing public toilets may have an internal space that is 10 centimeters wider than ordinary models, so sufficient area should be reserved during planning.
Mobile Toilet (Portable) Sizes are distinguished by the capacity of the waste tank: the 10-liter model is approximately 410×355×310 millimeters, and the 20-liter model is approximately 410×355×420 millimeters. These products are compact and suitable for personal or temporary needs, such as outdoor camping and medical care. When choosing, match the capacity and size reasonably according to the duration of use and the frequency of waste disposal.
Design Considerations and Precautions
- Compliance: All dimensions must comply with national standards. Some regions may have additional requirements for height, door width, etc., which should be confirmed in advance.
- Practicality: Avoid choosing overly small sizes, especially during peak seasons or in high-traffic scenarios, as this may lead to difficulties in turnover or a decline in user experience.
- Flexibility: Foam-flushing public toilets can optimize space to some extent due to their technical advantages, but ensure that the dimensions of core functional areas (such as toilet compartments and aisles) meet the standards.
