Materials for Mobile Toilets

Admin 24 de septiembre de 2026

The materials used in mobile toilets have undergone development and changes, with common materials including fiberglass reinforced plastic, polyethylene, high-quality galvanized square tubes, galvanized steel sheets, bamboo-wood fiber boards, and anti-slip tiles.

Initially, mobile toilets were mostly made of traditional materials such as wood. With technological advancements and increased demands, the variety of materials has gradually expanded. Fiberglass reinforced plastic is a commonly used material. It is an integral public restroom facility made from epoxy resin and glass fibers. Fiberglass reinforced plastic is lightweight yet hard, non-conductive, has high mechanical strength, is rarely recycled, and is corrosion-resistant. These characteristics enable fiberglass reinforced plastic mobile toilets to adapt to different usage environments and have a long service life, being less susceptible to damage from external factors.

Polyethylene is also one of the commonly used materials for manufacturing mobile toilets. Polyethylene has good chemical stability, can withstand erosion from most acids and alkalis, is insoluble in general solvents at room temperature, has low water absorption, and excellent electrical insulation. This makes polyethylene mobile toilets perform well in moisture and corrosion resistance, suitable for use in damp or chemically complex environments.

Some mobile toilets have their main bodies welded from high-quality galvanized square tubes and galvanized steel sheets, with their surfaces treated by high-temperature spraying. Galvanized materials have good rust resistance, enhancing the structural strength and stability of mobile toilets, while high-temperature spraying further improves their surface corrosion resistance and aesthetics. The interior floors are usually made of anti-slip tiles, which have good anti-slip properties, effectively reducing the risk of users slipping and getting injured when entering or exiting the toilet, ensuring safety. The walls often use bamboo-wood fiber boards, a new type of eco-friendly material with advantages such as being green and eco-friendly, waterproof and moisture-proof, and sound-insulating and heat-insulating, providing a relatively comfortable usage environment for users.
