Mobile Toilet Material Analysis

Admin 22 de septiembre de 2026

The selection of materials for mobile toilets is diverse, with each material having its unique performance characteristics and application scenarios. Here is an analysis of commonly used materials:

Fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) is composed of glass fibers and resin. It is lightweight, easy to transport and install, has a smooth surface that is easy to clean, is resistant to rust and corrosion, and has good thermal insulation properties, making it suitable for humid or rainy environments. However, its strength is relatively low, and it is prone to damage under strong impacts, requiring regular maintenance. It is commonly used for the outer shell or overall structure of toilets, with prices ranging from several thousand to tens of thousands of yuan.

Stainless steel has strong impact and corrosion resistance, and its surface is easy to disinfect, ensuring good hygiene conditions. It is mainly used for internal hardware, door hinges, and some exterior finishes of toilets. However, it has high thermal conductivity, making the internal temperature susceptible to external influences. It is also costly, about 1.5-2 times that of aluminum alloy, and difficult to process, making it suitable for scenarios with high foot traffic or frequent use.

Polyethylene or plastic materials are lightweight, low-cost, easy to mold and transport, have good sealing properties to effectively prevent odor leakage, and are weather-resistant, not easily affected by rain or ultraviolet rays. They are commonly used for temporary or short-term use scenarios. However, their strength is relatively low, and they are prone to wear and deformation under long-term use or harsh weather conditions, requiring frequent replacement. PVC panels are often used for internal partitions, wall panels, and ceiling panels, and it is important to choose environmentally friendly products.

Metal panels or aluminum alloy materials are lightweight, highly corrosion-resistant, and can be treated with oxidation or fluorocarbon spraying on the surface for excellent rust prevention and easy processing and molding. They are the mainstream materials for the framework and structure of mobile toilets. They are structurally stable, able to withstand significant external forces, and easy to maintain, but have poor thermal insulation properties, requiring additional insulation layers.

Composite materials or new materials integrate multiple advantages, such as high durability and good environmental adaptability, offering more flexibility in design and function. However, they have higher costs and technical requirements, and need to be selected based on specific needs.

Wooden materials such as preservative-treated wood and eco-wood have a natural texture and are easy to process. Preservative-treated wood can be used for internal decoration or external frameworks, while eco-wood combines the appearance of wood with the durability of plastic. However, attention should be paid to corrosion prevention and heat resistance issues, making them suitable for scenarios with high aesthetic requirements.

Other materials such as rock wool sandwich panels have good sound insulation and thermal insulation properties, as well as a high fire rating, making them suitable for areas with high foot traffic. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) panels have high strength, impact resistance, and ultraviolet resistance, and are commonly used for the bottom and exterior finishes.
