Internal Space Dimensions of Mobile Toilets

Admin 02 de octubre de 2026

The internal space dimensions of mobile toilets vary depending on their type, function, and usage scenarios. Here are some common standards:

1. Single-stall Mobile Public Toilets
Single-stall mobile public toilets are a basic type, with internal net dimensions typically ranging from 1.2m to 1.5m in length, 1.0m to 1.2m in width, and 2.2m to 2.5m in height. This size design primarily considers the convenience of single-person use, meeting basic toilet needs while ensuring user comfort within the limited space. For example, a length of 1.2m to 1.5m allows users sufficient turning space, a width of 1.0m to 1.2m can accommodate common toilet fixtures, and a height of 2.2m to 2.5m avoids a sense of confinement while facilitating equipment installation and maintenance.

2. Multi-stall Mobile Public Toilets
The internal space dimensions of multi-stall mobile public toilets need to be adjusted according to the number of stalls. Taking double-stall toilets as an example, the overall length is usually between 3m and 6m, and the width is typically 1.5m to 2.5m. This design ensures independent use of each stall while also considering the layout of public areas, such as aisle width and door placement. For multi-stall mobile public toilets with three or more stalls, each additional stall requires an increase of approximately 1.5㎡ to 2㎡ in usable area to ensure sufficient space for each stall and prevent users from feeling crowded.

3. Accessible Stalls
The design of accessible stalls must fully consider the needs of disabled individuals, with internal net dimensions not less than 1.8m × 1.4m. The larger space facilitates the entry and turning of wheelchairs while providing sufficient activity space for caregivers. Additionally, accessible stalls should be equipped with corresponding auxiliary facilities, such as handrails and emergency call devices, to enhance safety and convenience of use.

4. Baby Care Rooms/Third Restrooms
Baby care rooms or third restrooms generally have an area of not less than 4㎡ and a net width of at least 1.5m. This size design can meet various needs, such as baby care and use by disabled individuals. They are typically equipped with baby changing tables, child seats, and barrier-free facilities. The larger space ensures users have sufficient activity range during operations, enhancing comfort and safety of use.
