Mobile Toilet Interior Decoration
The following design points can be referred to for the interior decoration of mobile toilets, taking into account both practicality and space utilization:

1. Wet-Dry Separation Design
Wet-dry separation is a core design element that enhances the user experience in mobile toilets. For example, an integrated bathroom structure with dimensions of 2 meters in width and 3 meters in length can reasonably divide functional areas: placing the sink and makeup mirror in the external area to prevent water vapor from entering the interior during washing; separating the shower area from the toilet area internally using glass partitions or waterproof curtains. This design not only keeps the dry area clean, reduces mold growth, but also improves efficiency when multiple people use it simultaneously. If space is limited, foldable glass doors or half-wall partitions can be chosen to save space while ensuring transparency.
2. Niche Storage Design
Niches are a powerful tool for efficiently utilizing space in mobile toilets. Custom niches can be designed for recessed areas formed by enclosing sewage pipes or columns:
- Shower Area Niches: Used to store shower gels, shampoos, and other bathing supplies, avoiding the occupation of floor or wall-mounted storage space. When designing, note the following:
- Shelf Slope: The shelf should slope outward by 2-3 millimeters to prevent water accumulation;
- Ventilation Treatment: Reserve a 5-10 millimeter gap inside the niche or use a perforated back panel to prevent dampness from causing items to mold;
- Height Adaptation: Based on the height of commonly used bottled products (e.g., the height of a 500ml shampoo bottle is about 25cm), it is recommended that the single-layer height of the niche be 30-35cm for easy access.
- Toilet Area Niches: Small open shelves can be installed to store toilet paper, cleaning agents, etc., with a shelf height of 15-20cm being appropriate.
3. Vertical Storage System Behind the Door
The area behind the door of a mobile toilet is often overlooked, but it can become an important storage space through reasonable design:
- Ultra-Thin Storage Racks: Install 3-5cm thick punch-free hanging racks to hang cleaning tools such as mops and brooms, preventing them from toppling over and occupying floor space;
- Custom Pegboard: If the door panel material allows, fix a pegboard and pair it with hooks, clips, and other accessories to store small items such as brushes and rags;
- Magnetic Storage: Stick magnetic storage boxes on the surface of metal door panels to store small metal items such as hairpins and razors, providing easy access without occupying space.
Precautions: When decorating mobile toilets, priority should be given to selecting waterproof and moisture-proof materials (such as PVC panels and stainless steel), and the floor slope should be ≥2% to ensure smooth drainage. If space is extremely tight, the glass partition in the wet-dry separation can be omitted and replaced with a waterproof shower curtain, and the drainage path can be optimized through the position of the floor drain.
