Mobile Toilet Insulation Layer

Admin 01 de octubre de 2026

The mobile toilet insulation layer achieves efficient thermal insulation through composite materials, sealing techniques, and pipeline insulation technology, enabling normal operation in environments as low as -50℃.

Materials and Design: Composite Structure Enhances Thermal Insulation Performance

The mobile toilet insulation layer employs a multi-layer composite design. The outer layer is typically made of color-coated steel plates or metal carved panels, offering both corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal; the inner layer uses fire-resistant boards to enhance safety. The middle is filled with 5cm-thick polyurethane foam or rock wool, with a thermal conductivity as low as 0.024W/(m·K), improving thermal insulation performance by three times compared to traditional materials. Some high-end models feature a metal carved panel outer layer with an internal composite of fire-resistant boards and rock wool, forming a dual thermal insulation barrier that ensures stable operation in extreme low temperatures ranging from -40℃ to -50℃.

Sealing Techniques: Key to Reducing Heat Loss

Door and window sealing is a core aspect of thermal insulation. By installing EPDM rubber strips, an elastic sealing layer is formed, effectively blocking air convection; ventilation openings are upgraded to temperature-controlled louver devices that automatically adjust their opening angles based on ambient temperature, reducing heat loss by over 60%. Additionally, the connection between the door frame and the wall is filled with expanding foam to further eliminate gaps and prevent cold air infiltration.

Drainage System Insulation: Three-Dimensional Protection Against Freezing

The area around the squat toilet trap is filled with expanded perlite, utilizing its low thermal conductivity to maintain water temperature; drainage pipes are wrapped with a 50mm-thick insulation layer (such as rubber-plastic sponge), forming a continuous insulation belt. Some models incorporate electric tracing tapes at pipe bends, which automatically heat up when the temperature drops below 5℃, ensuring unobstructed drainage.

Pipeline Insulation: Combining Intelligent Temperature Control with Multi-Layer Protection

Pipeline insulation adopts a dual approach of 'electric tracing + material wrapping':

  1. Self-regulating heating cables: Wrapped around the pipes at a power of 8W/m, paired with an intelligent temperature control box that automatically activates when sensors detect temperatures below 5℃. An aluminum foil heat conduction layer ensures that a total power of 75W is sufficient to maintain the pipe surface temperature above 5℃ in environments as cold as -15℃.
  2. Multi-layer wrapping materials: All pipelines are covered with rubber insulating sleeves, with critical joints (such as valves and tees) receiving an additional double layer of insulation material (such as rock wool + aluminum foil) to reduce thermal bridging effects.
  3. Optimized electric tracing system: Insulated mobile toilets utilize a combination of heating cables, insulation materials, and temperature sensors that automatically activate when the outdoor temperature drops below 20℃, preventing pipe freezing while avoiding energy waste.

Through the synergistic effects of materials, sealing, and pipeline technologies, the mobile toilet insulation layer provides comprehensive protection from structure to detail, adapting to harsh environments with extreme cold and large temperature variations, ensuring both functionality and energy efficiency.
