Functions of Mobile Toilets

Admin 20 de septiembre de 2026

Mobile toilets are portable facilities designed to meet the toilet needs of the public and customers in fixed or temporary locations. Their functions vary depending on the type, mainly divided into two categories: ordinary mobile toilets and smart mobile toilets.

Ordinary Mobile Toilets

  1. Basic Toilet Functions
The core function of ordinary mobile toilets is to provide basic toilet services, suitable for densely populated or temporary locations such as stations, docks, tourist attractions, construction sites, and squares. Their design focuses on practicality to meet the daily needs of the public.

  2. Environmental Protection Technology Solutions
Ordinary mobile toilets are classified into three types based on their operation mode: waterless flushing, foam sealing, and water flushing.

  • Waterless Flushing: These toilets do not require connection to water supply and drainage pipes. They achieve harmless treatment of feces through biological degradation or chemical treatment, making them suitable for water-scarce or temporary scenarios.
  • Water Flushing: These toilets need to be connected to water supply and drainage pipes. Some products adopt rainwater collection and filtration systems or secondary toilet flushing technology using hand-washing water to achieve water-saving functions.
  • Foam Sealing: These toilets cover the feces surface with foaming liquid to isolate odors and reduce the amount of flushing water, combining environmental protection with practicality.
  1. Structural Design for Easy Mobility and Installation
Ordinary mobile toilets adopt a steel welding frame structure, with channel steel or I-beams at the bottom, square steel for columns, and wall materials including color steel plates and metal carved plates. The frame design supports hoisting, facilitating rapid movement and repeated installation to adapt to different scenarios.

Smart Mobile Toilets

  1. Toilet Cubicle Status Sensing
Through smart door locks or human body induction modules, the occupancy status of toilet cubicles is monitored in real-time, and the availability information is displayed through door indicators or entrance integrated screens, reducing waiting time for users and improving usage efficiency.

  2. Environmental Operation and Maintenance
Equipped with ammonia, odor, and temperature and humidity sensors, when the odor concentration or paper towel residue reaches a threshold, the system automatically sends reminders to operation and maintenance personnel and activates ventilation and deodorization equipment in conjunction, achieving proactive operation and maintenance and improving the toilet environment.

  3. Additional Convenience Services
Some smart mobile toilets integrate functions such as mobile phone charging, emergency calls, and surrounding service navigation. Some models support connection to urban public service platforms, facilitating users to query the availability of toilet cubicles through mobile devices and enhancing service convenience.

  4. Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection
They are usually equipped with solar power supply systems and water circulation treatment devices to reduce energy consumption and water waste, aligning with modern environmental protection concepts and suitable for scenarios with high sustainability requirements.

  5. Data Management
Through IoT technology, usage data is uploaded to the cloud in real-time, helping managers analyze information such as usage frequency and peak hours to optimize operation and maintenance strategies and improve management efficiency.
