Mobile Toilet Foundation

Admin 20 de septiembre de 2026

The foundation of a mobile toilet must meet basic requirements such as load-bearing capacity, flatness, stability, dimensions, surface quality, and anti-corrosion treatment, as detailed below:

1. Load-Bearing Capacity The foundation's load-bearing capacity should be determined based on the type, size, and usage load of the mobile toilet. Lightweight mobile toilets typically require a foundation bearing capacity of no less than 100 kPa, while larger modular toilets or those used in high-frequency scenarios require higher bearing capacities. Insufficient bearing capacity may lead to foundation settlement or toilet tilting, affecting structural safety. During design, it is necessary to combine geological survey reports and calculate the foundation depth and concrete strength grade to ensure long-term stability.

2. Flatness The flatness error of the foundation surface should be controlled to no more than 20 mm per square meter. If the ground is uneven, issues such as shaking, loose connections, or improperly closed doors and windows may occur after toilet installation, shortening equipment lifespan and posing safety hazards. During construction, a level should be used for detection, and multiple leveling or local repairs should be carried out to meet requirements.

3. Stability The foundation site should avoid areas prone to geological disasters such as landslides and mudslides. If the foundation is located in soft soil layers (such as silt or backfill), replacement (e.g., with sand or gravel) or compaction treatment should be carried out to improve density; if necessary, reinforced concrete pile foundations can be added or the foundation area can be expanded to enhance anti-overturning capacity.

4. Dimensions The foundation dimensions should be slightly larger than the bottom outline of the mobile toilet, with at least 30-50 cm of space reserved around it to facilitate position adjustment during installation, pipeline laying, and subsequent maintenance. If the toilet needs to be connected to water, electricity, or sewage systems, operating space should be reserved according to the equipment interface positions.

5. Surface Quality The foundation surface should be solid and free of cracks to avoid a decrease in bearing capacity due to crack expansion or structural damage caused by rainwater infiltration. After concrete pouring, sufficient curing should be carried out to prevent surface dusting; if cracks appear, pressure grouting or surface sealing treatment should be carried out according to the crack width.

6. Anti-Corrosion Treatment In corrosive environments such as seaside areas or chemical plants, anti-corrosion measures should be taken for the foundation. For example, corrosion inhibitors can be added to the concrete, epoxy resin coatings can be applied to the surface, or stainless steel anchoring parts can be used; if it is a steel structure foundation, hot-dip galvanizing treatment should be carried out to extend service life.

Supplementary Construction Process: Before foundation construction, debris on the site should be cleared, and excavation should be carried out to the specified depth according to design requirements; during concrete pouring, layered vibration and compaction should be carried out to avoid honeycombing and pitting; after construction is completed, curing should be carried out for at least 7 days, and the toilet can be installed only after the strength meets the standard.
