Mobile Toilet for Home Use
Mobile toilets used at home typically refer to portable commodes or indoor mobile toilets, and large mobile toilets in public places are not suitable for home settings.

I. Types and Features of Mobile Toilets for Home Use
Mobile toilets used at home are mainly portable commodes or indoor mobile toilets, with the core function of providing nighttime convenience for individuals with mobility issues (such as the elderly and pregnant women), avoiding the risk of traveling back and forth to the bathroom. Their design features include:
- Lightweight Structure: Usually made of plastic or lightweight metal, they can be placed directly beside the bed in the bedroom without requiring fixed installation.
- Practical Functions: Equipped with a super-strong load-bearing base (capable of supporting over 200kg), a deep toilet bowl (reducing the frequency of cleaning), and a handle with a lid (preventing odor diffusion), some models also come with a backrest and armrests to enhance comfort.
- Suitable Scenarios: Ideal for small apartments, homes without independent bathrooms, or nighttime emergency situations, especially suitable for post-operative rehabilitation patients or individuals with disabilities.
II. Toilet Relocation in Bathroom Renovations
If you need to adjust the position of the toilet (such as optimizing space layout or accommodating special needs), choose a relocation method based on the drainage system:
- Same-Floor Drainage System: The pipes are located on the same floor, offering high flexibility for relocation. For small-scale relocations (10-40 cm), a toilet relocator can be used directly to extend the drainage pipe for position adjustment, with the advantages of minimal modification and low cost (approximately 200-500 yuan).
- Inter-Floor Drainage System: The pipes are located on the ceiling of the floor below, requiring floor damage or negotiation with the downstairs neighbor for relocation. For long-distance relocations (over 40 cm), the floor needs to be raised (approximately 10-15 cm) and the pipes relaid, or a wall-mounted toilet (with the drainage pipe running along the wall) can be used, but the cost is higher (approximately 1000-3000 yuan).
Precautions: After relocation, ensure a slope of ≥2% (to prevent blockages) and prioritize the use of siphon toilets (with strong flushing power and good odor prevention).
III. Differences in Mobile Toilets for Public Places
Mobile toilets used in public places (such as scenic spots and construction sites) are large integrated structures, composed of fecal storage tanks, sanitary fixtures, walls, etc., and made of fiberglass or polyethylene materials. They are classified by structure into single-unit (independent single rooms) or composite (multiple connected rooms) types, and by mobility into hoisting (requiring lifting equipment) or powered (with built-in wheels) types. These toilets are large in size and require a professional sewage system, completely unsuitable for indoor home environments, so do not confuse their usage scenarios.
