Mobile Toilet for Construction Site

Admin 05 de octubre de 2026

Mobile toilets for construction sites can be either homemade or ready-made, depending on the needs, and their types, technologies, and structural features should be designed according to actual working conditions.

1. Production Methods and Examples

Mobile toilets for construction sites can be achieved through simple modifications. For example, using a water storage tank and a pallet: Fix universal wheels at the bottom of the pallet to enable mobility. Cut the water storage tank to form an open tank and stack and secure it. After cutting an opening for the door, install a drainage system (such as drainage elbows and pipes). Fix facilities such as toilets, washbasins, and showers inside, and finally enclose the door with wooden boards. Such homemade toilets are low-cost but require consideration of waterproofing, sewage disposal, and durability, making them suitable for short-term or small construction sites.

2. Applicable Locations and Product Types

Construction sites, as typical application scenarios, require high mobility and large capacity. Among ready-made mobile toilets, the 4+1 step type is a common choice: four squatting positions with one open washroom, with the exterior wall made of heat-insulating and flame-retardant metal carved panels, the side door made of titanium-magnesium alloy material, and the interior equipped with a bathroom cabinet, anti-slip tiles, an exhaust fan, etc., balancing practicality and comfort. In addition, the number of squatting positions can be customized according to the scale of the construction site, and heating and cooling air conditioners or anti-freezing systems can be added to adapt to extreme weather conditions.

3. Technological Types and Sewage Treatment

The technological selection of mobile toilets for construction sites should consider environmental protection and resource recycling:

  • Circulating water flush type: Through intermittent aerobic and anaerobic treatment devices, biological bacteria are added to decompose feces, and the treated water can be recycled for flushing, reducing water consumption and suitable for construction sites with water shortages.
  • Dry packing type: Without a water flushing device, excreta is received by biodegradable plastic bags, which are automatically replaced and collected centrally after use, avoiding sewage leakage and suitable for remote construction sites without sewage pipes.
  • Other types such as foam sealing type (using foam to cover excreta to reduce odors), water-saving flush type (optimizing the flushing structure), etc., can be selected according to the construction site's budget and environmental protection requirements.

4. Structural Features and Configurations

The structure of mobile toilets for construction sites should meet durability and functionality requirements:

  • Exterior wall materials: Options include color steel plates, metal carved panels, or stainless steel plates, balancing corrosion resistance and aesthetics.
  • Main structure: Made of national standard light steel keels welded together, supporting overall hoisting for quick deployment and relocation.
  • Standard configurations: Include toilet bowls, lighting fixtures, exhaust fans, door locks, etc.; optional configurations such as air purifiers and background music can enhance the user experience, while anti-freezing systems are suitable for construction in northern winters.
