Mobile Toilet for Bathroom Relocation

Admin 28 de septiembre de 2026

If you need to move the toilet position in the bathroom or place a mobile toilet seat, it can be achieved through traditional toilet relocation or using a mobile toilet seat, with the specific plan to be selected based on actual needs.

I. Traditional Toilet Relocation Plans

  1. Using a Toilet Offset Connector

    • Applicable Scenarios: Short-distance (5-15 cm) adjustment of the toilet position, requiring installation before laying floor tiles.
    • Technical Points: Ensure the drainage pipe slope is 1%-3% to avoid poor drainage; the longer the relocation distance, the higher the risk of blockage, with a recommended relocation distance of no more than 15 cm.
    • Limitations: The offset connector may change the drainage path, increasing the probability of pipe blockage, so the relocation distance should be carefully evaluated.
  2. Raising the Floor Method

    • Applicable Scenarios: Long-distance relocation (over 15 cm) or when pipes need to be hidden.
    • Technical Points: Build a base platform 18-20 cm high to embed drainage pipes, requiring a new waterproof layer and ensuring a reasonable floor slope.
    • Limitations: It will raise the height of the bathroom floor, potentially affecting overall space usage, and needs to be carried out simultaneously with decoration.
  3. Wall-Hung Toilet Retrofit

    • Applicable Scenarios: When you want to hide pipes without raising the floor.
    • Technical Points: Change the floor drainage to wall drainage, with pipes running along the wall, requiring consent from the downstairs neighbor and ensuring the wall structure allows for retrofitting.
    • Advantages: High concealment, space-saving, suitable for modern minimalist decoration styles.

II. Mobile Toilet Seat Plans

  1. Structure and Function

    • Designed specifically for the elderly or those with mobility issues, with a fixed slot on the back for stable placement on an empty bucket; cover the lid after use to prevent odors, requiring a self-prepared container (such as an empty bucket) to receive waste.
  2. Applicable Scenarios

    • Suitable for winter or temporary use, such as when a family member suddenly has mobility issues; no need to retrofit the bathroom structure, with high flexibility.
  3. Limitations

    • Requires regular cleaning of the waste container and is not a long-term solution; long-term use may lead to odor diffusion due to insufficient container sealing.

III. Precautions

  • Traditional Relocation Risks: Requires a new waterproof layer, and improper operation may cause leakage, leading to neighbor disputes; it is recommended to consult professional construction personnel first.
  • Mobile Toilet Seat Maintenance: Requires regular cleaning of the container and checking of sealing to avoid bacterial growth; suitable as a temporary aid rather than a permanent replacement.

Recommendation: Choose a plan based on the relocation distance, decoration conditions, and user group. For short-distance relocation, prioritize the offset connector; for long-distance or when pipes need to be hidden, choose the raised floor or wall-hung retrofit; for temporary needs, select a mobile toilet seat.
