Mobile Toilet Fermentation Tank

Admin 27 de septiembre de 2026

Mobile toilet fermentation tanks primarily utilize microbial decomposition and fermentation technologies to convert human waste into reusable resources or harmless products. The technical principles and designs vary depending on the type of tank.

1. Beijing Mobile Ecological Toilet
This system achieves primary separation of solids and liquids through mechanical separation. The solid portion enters a high-temperature fermentation chamber where organic matter is decomposed by microorganisms. Key control parameters include carbon-to-nitrogen ratio adjustment, oxygen supply rate, and humidity maintenance range to ensure microbial activity. The resulting humus, after testing and evaluation, can be used as a soil amendment, enabling resource utilization. The liquid portion is treated using a combination of multi-stage filtration and biofilm technology, with the treated water meeting irrigation standards and suitable for urban greening maintenance, forming a “solid-liquid dual-cycle” resource utilization model.

2. Principles of Mobile Public Toilet Septic Treatment

  • Microbial Decomposition Mode: High-efficiency composite microbial communities are added to the septic tank, where they secrete enzymes to accelerate the decomposition of organic macromolecules in feces into carbon dioxide, water, and inorganic salts. This process requires maintaining appropriate temperature, pH, and oxygen supply, typically with the aid of a ventilation system to provide sufficient oxygen and promote the activity of aerobic bacteria, reducing fecal volume and eliminating odorous gases.
  • Traditional Anaerobic Fermentation and Sedimentation Separation: After entering the septic tank, feces form a sludge layer, scum layer, and clarified wastewater layer due to gravity. Anaerobic bacteria decompose the sludge in an oxygen-deprived environment, producing biogas and stabilizing organic matter. Modern designs incorporate odor-proof floor drains, water seals, and forced ventilation systems to prevent clogging and odor emissions, balancing environmental protection with practicality.

3. Microbial Degradation Eco-Friendly Toilet Device
This device consists of a squat toilet, fermentation degradation tank, exhaust pipe, and PLC control system. The fermentation tank contains microbial strains and a stirrer, achieving mixed degradation of waste through constant-temperature heating (approximately 800W) and mechanical transmission, consuming 3-5 kWh of electricity per day. The treated gas is discharged in compliance with standards, and the residue is converted into organic fertilizer, with microbial strains requiring replacement every 3-6 months. Its waterless flushing design triggers the opening and closing of a movable baffle via photoelectric induction and is equipped with a spiral double-auger stirring structure, further enhancing treatment efficiency and resource utilization.
