Introduction to the Environmental Protection Functions of Mobile Toilets

Admin 08 de octubre de 2026

The environmental protection functions of mobile toilets are mainly reflected in four aspects: water conservation, environmental protection technologies, intelligent system support, and eco-friendly materials:

I. Water Conservation and Resource Recycling Mobile toilets significantly reduce water consumption through technological optimizations. Some products employ rainwater collection and filtration systems, purifying natural precipitation for toilet flushing. The secondary use of hand-washing water for flushing is achieved through pipeline design, recycling wastewater from hand washing. For example, intelligent water-saving ecological toilets automatically collect urine and hand-washing water, adding water-saving agents to achieve a flushing effect with only 0.46 liters of water per use, saving over 90% of water compared to traditional toilets. Additionally, recirculating water-flush mobile toilets are equipped with intermittent aerobic and anaerobic treatment units. After adding biological strains, they use biofilm technology to accelerate the decomposition of fecal wastewater. The treated water can be recycled for flushing, forming a closed-loop system of 'excreta-treatment-reuse', greatly reducing freshwater intake.

II. Diversified Environmental Protection Technology Solutions Mobile toilets offer various pollution-free or low-pollution technological approaches:

  • Waterless Flush Type: These do not require connection to water supply and drainage pipes, relying on microbial degradation or physical containment technologies to treat excreta, suitable for water-scarce areas or temporary event scenarios.
  • Foam Sealing Type: By generating high-density foam through a foaming device to cover the toilet bowl, odors are isolated, and flushing water volume is reduced. Simultaneously, the lubricating effect of the foam reduces excreta adhesion.
  • Dry Packaging Type: Degradable plastic bags are used to collect excreta, with automatic bag replacement and centralized collection after use, preventing sewage leakage and odor diffusion. Subsequent resource recovery can be achieved through composting or incineration.

III. Intelligent Systems for Optimized Resource Management Some high-end products integrate intelligent control systems, using underlying PLC data acquisition systems to monitor toilet stall usage status, water consumption, and other parameters in real-time. Paired with 40-inch LED stall monitors and 4G remote monitoring modules, they support managers in remotely controlling lighting, flushing, and other devices via a mobile app. For example, flushing frequency can be automatically adjusted based on foot traffic, or non-essential energy consumption can be turned off when the toilet is unoccupied, achieving precise resource allocation and dynamic energy optimization.

IV. Eco-Friendly Materials and Long-Life Design The main structures of mobile toilets often use eco-friendly panels such as color-coated steel sheets, metal carved panels, and anti-corrosive wood. These materials are not only recyclable but also have a design life of over 10 years for the main materials, reducing waste generated by frequent replacements. The choice of exterior wall materials is flexible and can be customized according to the usage environment. For example, stainless steel panels are suitable for highly corrosive environments, while aluminum-plastic panels offer a balance of lightweight properties and weather resistance, further extending the product's lifecycle and reducing environmental impact.
