Mobile Toilets Are Unpopular

Admin 08 de octubre de 2026

Mobile toilets do have some unsatisfactory aspects, mainly reflected in the following areas:

1. Inconvenient Use Mobile toilets often do not fit tightly with the ground, making them prone to shaking or even tipping over, posing safety hazards to users. At the same time, their internal space is relatively small, which not only makes it difficult for users to maintain hygiene but also significantly increases the difficulty of use for obese individuals or those with mobility issues in their lower limbs, making it hard to meet their basic needs.

2. Poor Sanitary Conditions Due to the limited capacity of mobile toilets, if they are not cleaned promptly, they can easily generate odors and bacteria, affecting the health of users. Moreover, if manual cleaning is not timely, there is also a risk of an epidemic. Additionally, some water-related facilities, if left idle or unused for a long time, may encounter technical issues such as pipe ruptures and water leaks, further exacerbating sanitary problems.

3. Inadequate Privacy Protection The small space of mobile toilets makes users vulnerable to being watched while using them, making it difficult to ensure privacy. At the same time, cleaning work may be carried out at any time, and contact between users and cleaners may also cause psychological distress, affecting the user experience.

4. High Costs The maintenance parties of mobile toilets need to invest a large amount of costs in terms of labor, cleaning, and transportation, and the repair costs are also relatively high. These costs may ultimately be passed on to users. For example, the increase in the fee for mobile public toilets in Fuzhou to 10 yuan has sparked widespread controversy.

5. Frequent Incidents of Uncivilized Behavior Some users lack public awareness and engage in uncivilized behavior in mobile toilets, such as defecating outside the toilet bowl or even near the sink. This behavior is not only disgusting but also increases the difficulty and cost of cleaning work.
