Mobile Toilet Drain Trap Images
The drain trap of a mobile toilet, also known as a water seal trap, currently has no direct images available, but its shapes and characteristics can be introduced.

The curved pipe beneath the squat toilet in a mobile toilet is professionally called a water seal trap. It is an important drainage pipe fitting whose main function is to form a water column of a certain height inside the pipe, preventing odors and pests from the drainage pipe system from entering the indoor space through the pipe, thus serving as an odor and pest barrier. There are two common shapes of water seal traps:
S-shaped Water Seal Trap: It resembles a flattened U and is more suitable for vertical drainage pipes. In a mobile toilet, when the drainage pipe from the squat toilet is vertically connected downward, an S-shaped water seal trap can be well installed in the pipe. Its working principle is that when sewage is discharged from the squat toilet, it first passes through the water seal trap, where a water seal is formed. This water seal acts as a barrier, isolating the drainage pipe from the indoor space and preventing the emission of odors from the pipe. Moreover, the structure of the S-shaped water seal trap is relatively simple, making installation and maintenance relatively easy, which is advantageous in mobile toilets that require frequent maintenance and cleaning.
P-shaped Water Seal Trap: It looks like a sideways U and is more suitable for situations where horizontal connections are needed, such as for toilets and floor drains. In a mobile toilet, if the drainage pipe from the squat toilet needs to be horizontally connected to other pipes, a P-shaped water seal trap is a good choice. It can also form a water seal in the pipe, serving the functions of odor and pest prevention. Compared to the S-shaped water seal trap, the P-shaped one can better adapt to the direction of the pipe during horizontal drainage, ensuring smooth drainage. Additionally, the P-shaped water seal trap has good sealing performance, effectively preventing sewage leakage and reducing pollution to the internal environment of the mobile toilet.
Although direct images of the drain traps in mobile toilets cannot be provided, by understanding the shapes and characteristics of water seal traps, one can better recognize their important role in the drainage system of mobile toilets.
